Wow I finished it and I feel regular. Or better like that John Travolta meme.

A bit off topic but I found out a while back on wiki that when Boston's singer Brad Delp killed himself he wrote 'j'ai une ame solitaire' on a piece of paper like Harold Smith did in TP.
video tape yourself saving monks. dont just do it. make sure its caught on film.

I hadn't realized that Lynch did the creepy remix, for the song for this creepy scene:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rk5vpf9B2I
It's cool to hear that Caretaker-esque song that he co-wrote, also.

This Chromatics instrumental song and video is amazing:

Such an amazing sendoff to Catherine Coulson and the character Margaret. The fact that she was willing to film that scene when she really was so close to death in real life is so sad and touching.

damn lynch confirmed she died four days after filming that scene

I always put shit off, David Lynch is my fucking favorite, and I just watched season 3.

Obligatory achewood comic: http://achewood.com/index.php?date=08312006  The close up of roastbeef as eraserhead is definitely my work avatar.

Season 3 really blew me away. It definitely reminded me of "The Wind-up Bird Chronicle," anyone else get Murakami vibes?

Bump this thread as I wanted to start a new thread but if it’s already on here might as well bump it.

I just rewatched the newest season and I am impressed, a bit more tasteful and with loads of backstory minus the few characters that were either left out or just weren’t into the story.

Donna Hayward
Josie Packard
Katherine Martell
Pete Martell
Hank
Leo

I liked the newest series and well deserved return.  But what if just what if there was an XFiles/TwinPeaks how do you guys’d think it’d go down? Somehow it’d be a monster weekly two parter where Dale Cooper and Dana Skully team up and David Duchovny characters meet?!

With the themes in the show they were just as interwoven with the suffering of others.

I read the final dossier of Twin Peaks and I have to say the ending to me seemed kinda like a letdown, inter-dimensional Judy saw everything coming and diverted the timelines so Dale Cooper and Laura couldn't come back was fucking stupid.

To really tie the whole gang back together and this would have been my take would've been as soon as he saved Laura she woke up with Donna (Laura Flynn Boyle) and somehow Leland/Bob entity would have been either exorcised or faded into dust.

Or after saving Laura Palmer it was somehow tied into and X-Files case and instead of it focusing on just Leland and Laura it originated in Twin Peaks but was a menace to the rest of the country and the FBI gang Cole, Cooper, Skully, Mulder could hunt or try to solve this existential crisis as with a mystery.

It'd write itself practically.

I still say they should have forgotten about all that supernatural-mystery-mumbo-jumbo and focused on the story arc where James runs away and works as a mechanic for the married woman, fixing her husband's jaguar.

Trouble is David Lynch's son and the guy that does Dirty Beaches.  They have a record coming out on Sacred Bones soon.

went back in time to say you have good taste, and know your stuff.lol

Got broken up with a few days ago, so now that my free time is gonna be a lot more open, I want to try to stream & discuss (on Rabbit) the first couple episodes of TP season 3 sometime this week.
https://www.rabb.it/

Who's into this idea, and would be down to join in on some episodes? Any questions?

I'm thinking sometime this Thursday night EST for the first one.
So let me know if you'd actually be down to join in, and I'll try to tailor the timing to what works best for people.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UXO8i_AaIw
Depending on how well things go, I'll try to get the whole season screened, before the end of the summer.

I'd be game and in to discussion, let me know in my inbox.

I have plenty of theories and know quite a bit.

I was overly ambitious thinking I was gonna do it tonight, I still need to iron out some stuff like the best site to upload copyrighted stuff to (Pornhub or Youtube's non-union Chinese equivalent?) and things like that, but will definitely keep you all updated. Realistically probably early next week.

I wish I could help you as far catching any backstory online. the recent series you are better off reading the dossier and the laura palmer diary.

damn, stoked to see some people nerd out as hard as me on this. i just finished the final dossier. shits wild. also picked up the secret history of twin peaks. have you seen the missing pieces though? i was told it's all about the first season, filling in way more blanks than fire walk with me.

I'm currently reading Lynch's "Room To Dream" and it is fantastic. It takes a unique, exciting approach to biographies by alternating chapters (one in Lynch's biographer's voice, then one in his own voice). Pretty inspiring:
