@rothdigga what are the odds there will ever be vegan 440's/440 hi's? :)

I would put those odds at high to very very high...

Very interested in this. On a related note,  my old man feet would kill for a vegan Tiago.

More big vegan cupsoles should be made. I think éS is the only one putting out vegan cupsoles which would work nicely with baggier pants. Most of those are a bit much for me aesthetically though. I do like some thin vulcs also but I think I’d be better off skating puffy cupsoles.

Etnies has some decent vegan options in the modestly-puffy cupsoles: Marana, Windrow and Joslin

For anyone who knows, how wide is the toe box on the quentins compared to the NB420? With a wide foot and cups the only things my heels can handle, I am now super curious about these, especially with a 34.99 sale price.

Never had the 420s but I consider myself to have wide flat feet, not big I’m a 9.5, but the Quentin’s seem very roomy and comfy and skate well too

I wear 11.5 and they were snug at first but after walking around they stretched out a little, definitely a narrow toe box

kinda sounds like the fit of the accel slim, which makes me weary. Did you ever have a pair of those?

hmmm, I’ve also heard they have wide toe box and are quite roomy for tts… will be hard to gauge my size without trying them on!

Yoo. im sure this was said but if not, theres always gonna be shoes on depop and ebay. been vegan only two years, but ive had luck finding the same old skool pros and blazers on ebay for the low. Supporting local shop is out of question for that ofc, but you can always buy more of the random shit (KCDC has some hot sauce I cleaned stock of ;))) )

I wonder what's up with these...the description says "rubber backed canvas" but kinda looks like that star and heel tab might be suede. SPoT seems to be the only place that has them so far.
https://skateparkoftampa.com/converse-one-star-pro-cordura-canvas-shoes-black-white-dark-gum-91734-16711

Also the new Emerica HO22 catalog has a "vegan gum" pack. Not my favorite models or colors, but I guess it's something

dumb move re: those converse! Reminds me of vans...
Saw those new emerica vegan options, tbh I'm glad they are stepping up their game and coming out with more than just 1 vegan option per season. The vulcano's look really good, if they were a cup, I'd cop instantly!

I’d be down for the vulcano if it weren’t for that absurd rubber toe cap. It’s just too much

New wheat Quattros are vegan. Really sick. How is the sizing compared to the regular accels? I've always found Accels to run small.

fuck I actually kinda like these….

Im closing in on the end of my quattros. Pretty solid shoe, first cup i skated hard in a while. for me the vegan white/grey quattros were TTS as a us13.

no reference on accels but i wore accel slims in a 13.

tryin some brands besides éS because im not even crazy about their stuff but they consistently put out vegan stuff thats pretty solid compared to the rest of soletech imo

I found them to be really short. I bought a half size up from my usual SoleTech size as recommended, and my big toes hit the end of the toe-box. I removed the insoles for extra room and use them for physical therapy. Next time I'll add a full size.

This wheat colorway looks awesome! Thanks for the heads up.

They looks so dope in this reel:
https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cj1SQD4LoLn/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
But yeah, at least 1/2 size up seems to be the general consensus!
In other soletech news, the fit on the spanlys is perfect for my foot. I often feel like I need an extra 1/4 size on top of my TTS in a lot of models, but these are total Cinderella fit for me!

1/2 size up I agree with on the Quattros.

Those brown ones I will definitely buy when they drop. Damn I kinda kept a few pairs back to skate in of synth Accels and other Quattros, but I gotta get these.

Bummer about the Quattros, was about to order them. I wear a 13, so there's no 13.5. Stretching my vegan Accels has been a pain.

Those are live on the Es site btw.
