In a pre-season friendly no less. Way to prove he really can't help it.

It’s the bulging neck vein that really does it for me.   It’s like he’s channeling pain from an alt universe where he actually did get an early 90s English tackle

man this dude would score twice as many goals if he just stayed on his feet when he drops his defender instead of trying to fake a penalty

I can’t tell you how many matches I’ve watched across every league where I’ve felt the same way.
I’d skin my knee and palms so bad on my buddy’s jump ramp with that thing.

It drives me crazy that the refs don't use VAR for diving and start dishing out yellow cards. VAR could be the perfect tool to end this bs.

See but that makes too much sense. Why use a tool that’s already when you can just guess?

Yeah it needs to happen because some of it is just really hard to watch.

On another note, if you go down ok whatever but quite fucking grabbing your face like you just took a boot the head. You got tripped.

Hopefully they start enforcing diving more this year.

The match last night between England and Sweden had a few amazing goals. I hope tonight's match is as entertaining to watch.

Edit link to highlights:
The 2;45 mark or so is an epic goal..

In my opinion If you dive to get a penalty or if you dive so that your oppenent gets a red card you should also get punished with a red card when you get caught.

Thats the only way to stop the constent falling in the penalty area.

100% a penalty should be reviewed and have equal punishment whether you are a defender or attacker. If you dive red. If you commit the foul red. It’d shut it down quick and make the game much more enjoyable to me at least. Although I know not everyone will agree and I totally respect the other side of the arguement, I think VAR can be used to a greater extent than it is already to improve the game.

Sorry to double post but anyone see the gesture during the Everton v Dynamo Kyiv match. Man I shed a tear there.

I don't think that a defender should get a red card when he commits a foul that leads to a penalty but the attacker should get a red card when he dives to get a penalty. The chances to score with a penalty is really really high. So a dive that leads to a penalty should be penalized like a defender who irregularly stops a ball in front of the goal line (which is a red card). Also i hate dives and it is really unsportsmanlike so there should be an extra punishment

Whoops.  Completely missed the charity shield match today, but happy enough with the result.   After last season I need a longer offseason.   Season used to not resume until mid/late August, but I guess it’s an adjustment for the Winter World Cup

Yeah was a good game including the result. Nunez looked lively off the bench and TAA got caught out for their goal a bit not playing to the whistle. City showed some promise but still a slow start to the season as always.if you listen to the city fans though, they were the better side despite losing, VAR was a farce and city didn’t think it was worthy of winning the cup final. Some of their conspiracy theories are completely ridiculous

Not a fan at all, but I think it’s a clear correlation between Alex Ferguson leaving and Ed Woodward going in and caring more about making money that creating a cohesive team.

I don’t think ten Hag will return them to their glory, but I don’t think he’ll fuck it up either.    My good buddy Jurgen didn’t come out winning right off the bat either.

Yeah CR should just suck it up until the winter transfer window.   He’s got 1 year left on his contract and it’s not like he’ll be cup tied for CL
