i don't love or hate real madrid, but the same thing that happened during the super galacticos era is gonna happen now.  expectations are gonna be way high from the fans and the front office, but all the ego on the field is gonna blow the team chemistry.

I wish I could watch club matches on tv, but the channels are pretty expensive to get.

If you anywhere in the ny tri state area, you know how incredibly obnoxious italians get about the world cup, i have such an intense hatred for the italian national team you have no idea.  I really wish the US national team was worth rooting for but they always are so fuckin mediocre, so I'm going to stand by Les Blues for anotherr world cup.

USA v. Mexico today.  US will probably lose like we always do at the Azteca.  Then again we beat Spain just two months ago...

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

i hop the us come out strong and don't give in to the altitude and smog of azteca

a victory would be sweet revenge for the 5-0 gold cup lost and really fuck up mexico's chances of qualify for the world cup which i'm all for

so stoked for the new season for most of the leagues, it feels like we've been waiting an age for them to start.

australia beat ireland 3-0 over night in a friendly, pretty goodmatch overall - both teams had good chances, schwarzer made some
excellent saves, tim cahill scored twice and david carnie got the third. this clip shows cahill's second and carnie's goal.

Horrible officiating, horrible fans.  Those cups they were throwing at Donovan had piss and regurgitated beer in them.  No fucking class.

I kind of rooted for Sunderland when Keano was managing.  Clearly I'm a Man. United fan.

solid team, arshavin will score for fun i reckon, and your front three, whichever two you play, should bag 40+.

I'm a fan for sure I'd say thats probably the most entertaining sport out there other than Formula 1 racing. It sucks though that I never really got into at least watching it because all that the media pushes is how to be a meathead and tackle people for some Chefboyardee or some shitty energy drink
