I'm kind of bummed that Real lost.  I'm in Madrid and it would have been awesome if they would have made to the final in their home stadium.  United fucking killed it though, and that's my team, so I'm satisfied.

He is phenomenal, consistently. European player of the year? probably between him and Rooney, who is on a rampage at the moment. Yet again Sunderland managed to snatch a draw from the mouth of victory.

Hat trick. Fuck yeah.

My favorite Barcelona players are Xavi and Iniesta.

Mourinho never loses at Stamford Bridge. I read somewhere the other day that apparently he hasn't lost a home match in the league since 2002. Damn that's impressive.

A really special own goal from our domestic league. You won't see this in the CL.

Fuck, I'm so happy Olic scored. I don't care much for Bayern but he's such a likeable player. And seeing ManU lose is always a bonus.

only way to support bayern is when they play international and this was kind of the way the start they needed. anyway, german football is a little fucked since years, no big players, no big teams, just the national team seems good for a (constant) suprise.

Yeah, I've never kept up with Bundesliga, but good win for Bayern.

I don't like Man U, but I certainly like a lot of their players.

I turned on the stream and saw Rooney score, went to class, came back just in time to see Olic slot the winner. That was nice. It won't be enough to see them through I don't think, but it was a good result for what it was.

I'm much more excited about Barca - Arsenal tomorrow though. Could be a really entertaining match.

yup, shame iniesta will be out. henry back at the emeriates, cesc playing against his former youth club, two clubs with great tradition and i don't think there's any other team that spray the ball around the pitch like these two. i can't wait.

Fuck, didn't get to watch the game, but I saw this photo on the Marca homepage

and thought "Jesus, did he really score another hat trick?" and then saw that he scored all 4. Unbelievable, can't wait til some highlights are online. I would love if he could bring the same lethality to the Clįsico on the weekend.

That guy is streets ahead of everybody else playing right now, which is a shame really because this could have been Rooney's year but I'd be very surprised if he wins anything more than domestic awards now.
