they still would of have 0 attempts on goal and no sniff of the ball. they were never in the match, before the sending off and even after the own goal. wenger brought a knife to a gun fight with that squad he put out there, leaving rvp up there by himself knowing 3 of barca's back 4 were playing out of position and sticking rosicky out on the right.

would like to see them win the prem though, man utd have such a shit squad this yr, no idea how they've kept winning.

milan/spurs should a great one

you realise that if it had stayed at 1-1 Arsenal would have gone through on goal difference right? Not conceding with 11 men is a bit easier than with 10.

Van Der Sar made some cracking saves today, good to see Rooney playing well too, good first touch and control and overall better movement from him. Fabio and Rafael are really two guys to watch at united, they're gonna be great some day.
Bolton in the semis here we come.

Yep.^^^

I woke up to see that Ibrahimovic got sent of in Italy for punching a dude in the stomach.  Goonness confirmed.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Inter-Bayern looked insane, only caught the highlights though. Tons of excitement. Was a bit bummed Marseille didn't make things more interesting against United, they had a couple of really clear opportunities they didn't take advantage of.

Looking pretty interesting all around for the next round though, time to start rooting for the underdogs.

First of all bummed that Inter made it through.
But even more bummed that I missed the game.

All the games I've caught this round haven't been that exciting to watch,
and this one seemed like it was a good one.

Inter-Bayern was one of the very few soccer matches that i liked. never gonna watch one alone though. the funniest thing was that we streamed it from an whiterussian channel or something, shit gets funnier with every single beer.

didnt really care who wins, didnt like both teams.

dude is undeniably talented, but what a fucking kook. always getting sent off etc... in that clip the announcer says something about him being or claiming to be allergic to grass? dude sucks.

and 1017, im trying to get more into the MLS, ill probably follow this season a bit more closely than any prior (lets go Philly!), but its mostly EPL, Bundesliga, Italian, and Spanish. I will def be going to as many Rebulls and Union games as possible. (they play each other April 8th in philly, cant wait to fan out on Henry).

You'll have fun there, Philly has a good crowd. If you're down to stand and sing you should check out some games in the River End. I've always enjoyed the sport, but I'm just as hooked on the atmosphere as I am on the game itself at this point.

Caught a Sounders game when I was in Seattle in August, that was a ton of fun. They have a really solid fan base and Qwest Field is the shit. But without a hometown team I have next to no incentive to follow the league.

I'ma say it, I hope Chelsea stomps on Man U in the quarter finals.

It would be kinda sick to have a clasico final though.

well it's impossible now, winner of real madrid vs tottenham plays winner of barca vs shaktar in the semis.

FUUCK FUCKIN' FUCK!!!

Madrid - Spurs...

FFUUCCKK!!!

I could fuckin' kill the goddamn ref if he was here right now.
And give a swifth kick to Mr. Crouch's groin too.

After the first half still feeling optimistic, but FUCKKK!

Being in the last 8 is still very good but that's little to no constellation right now.

Still... fucking stoked that Shalke wiped the floor with Inter.

Probably should've been five nil to Real.  Clear hand ball in the box in the first half.

What were you unhappy with ref wise? The only thing I remember being contentious was the Tottenham handball that wasn't called.

Regardless, I sure hope Crouch feels like a fucking idiot because he ought to.

Seemed to turn a blind eye to too many fouls for Real.
And you know, when your team plays shitty, blame anything you can ;)

Damn, what was Crouch thinking.

They were just just too good though. And the Di Maria goal was pretty damn good.
