Glory glory Man. United!! Now that that little bit of business is done, it's time to look ahead to Wembley and Barcelona. Too bad the noisy neighbor banner has to come down though.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Chicharito is on fire at the moment - 3 goals in the first game, 2 in the second.

I don't know if the US is included, but youtube is streaming everything for free to 50+ countries (but I can't find a list anywhere for some regular reason), give it a shot: http://www.youtube.com/copaamerica

All the most entertaining, attacking-minded teams have been eliminated from copa america. Looks like it'll be mostly defensive system battles with goals from set pieces or counterattacks from here on out. Kinda makes me less motivated to catch the remaining games but I'll probably still watch the final.

yeah, wtf? syked on uraguay tho. havent seen one match. dont know what channel theyre on... (just saw the live stream link)

anyone watching these powermoves liverpool is making? hyped on charlie adam and that henderson dude, but stewart downing is a sick fuck. arsenal / wenger are blowing it. seems like hes losing his team as we speak. clichys gone, nasri on his way, cesc most likely to barca... bummed that modric may go to chelsea. and if man utd gets wesley sneijder(sp?), i may have to jump ships (jk lol). love that dude, homo.

been watching philadelphia union house the mls, so thats been nice. gonna try to make it to the union/everton game on wed, or real madrid on saturday. cant wait for epl tho!

I wouldn't call those power moves by Liverpool.  They have a shit ton of above average midfielders instead of just a few.  None of those dudes would even start for Arsenal, besides maaaaaybe Downing.

haha well i say powermoves cause im backing them. but im pretty sure there were a few teams after charlie adam, man u and arsenal included. guy houses imo. never really heard of that dude henderson before any of this. just know he was on the under 21 squad for england, not that means too much these days lololol. kidding. def have a few too many midfielders tho... they prob assumed aquilani was on his way out..? dunno.

As far as United is concerned, I think they were interested in Adam during the winter transfer window. Once they found out there could be a possibility of getting Sneijder though, that thought quickly passes. I just hope it happens.

I don't really remember anyone besides Spurs and Liverpool ever being in for Adam.

As far as Sneijder...Fergie himself has said that he's moved on trying to get Sneijder.  Personally, I don't think Modric or Sneijder is going anywhere until next season, but if he does go it would make more sense for Inter to do a swap for Tevez.  I have no idea if Fabregas will go to Barca, they just signed Sanchez...when would Cesc even play?  Really his only hope would be if Xavi or Ineista got injured.  I don't think they would stick him in Sergio's role, and they are certainly not putting him ahead of any of the attacking 3.

stoooked on sanchez, barca now has depth at the striker position, they will be unstoppable.

in regards to cesc, as above user said, he's a great player, but kinda expensive to have him sitting on a bench...i just dont see him replacing xavi or iniesta so that idea makes no sense to me.

fixed.

Sanchez not really a Eto'o/Zlatan/Villa type striker though.  He's more of a Pedro, who I assume will be fighting for his place now....which is fucking madness.
