So Madrid won Supercopa...
That was such an intense game, but barca had pretty bad defense today, then Adriano got that stupid red.
Madrid played pretty well today though, made a lot of good chances.
I think it's safe to say they deserved the win.

Champions League group draw tomorrow.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

I'm kinda bummed that barca pretty much lost because of stupid mistakes.
1) valdez
2) defensive errors in the 2nd leg

Its looking good. Loads of good games.

Chelsea should go through. Man U get the easiest group. Arsenal should go through too.

Citys group will be tough.

Those champion's league groups have interesting implications for several league title races this year. City, Madrid, Dortmund are all gonna have to commit a lot of first team players if they wanna get through.

Can UTD succeed where they failed last year and hold off Galatasaray and Cluj for at least second place in the group?

Juve vs. Chelsea + Madrid vs. City should be good.

I think my teamname could do with a change too. I'm doing better than I though I would.

And theres some pretty big transfers happening today.

Maicon to Man City and Moutinho has joined Spurs.

Pablo Hernandez from Valencia to Swansea.  Good signing for Swansea.  Valencia is like the Arsenal of Spain.  They sold a lot of good players.

David Villa to Barca
David Silva to Man City
Juan Mata to Chelsea
Jordi Alba to Barca
Isco to Malaga
Pablo Hernandez to Swansea

What the fuck is Randy Lerner doing to Aston Villa?  How are they not reinforcing that squad?  Villa's gameplan is:  Close your eyes and hope Bent scores.  2 seasons running they've had the worst transfer window in my eyes.

^^ FALCAO!!!! huge fan of his.

van der vaart to hamburg as stated above, berbatov to fulham, hugo lloris to spurs, so that makes 4 gk for them(?), fulham accepted a bid from aston villa, but dempsey doesnt want to play there. liverpool had one rejected. essian apparently to real on loan. no ins or outs for arsenal, walcott staying put. yossi benayoun may be on his way out of chelsea. blaaah, def missing a bunch but cant remember it all. 2 hours left in the window.

I'd be peeved if I were a Liverpool fan.  I read the transfer fee for Dempsey was 6 mil. pounds.  Seems doable if your Liverpool.  Seen other players go for way more.  Unless Fulham refused to send him there.  Spurs looking bright with Dempsey and Dembele.

accepted a fee less than what liverpool was offering.

as for hazard, didnt realize chelsea signed his little brother shortly after him. thorgan, not edin(sp?) was loaned out. was kindof scratching my head on that one....
