Fucking annoying when a referee ruins a good game like that. Bummed.

Ya those kind of games are the hardest to keep your temper as a spectator/player.   Every sport has it's flaws.  Poor calls against Liverpool and Catania completeled an ugly weekend for refereeing.  Shame that Mata's goal is a footnote from yesterday.  Also, I haven't seen Chelsea dominate a top side like that in a long time.  United couldn't get a hold of the ball from about 30' to the second red card.  They were absolutely rampant.  Manchester City looked sluggish again and I think Chelsea are still the current favorites for the title.

Arsenal return to OT next week having lost 8-2 last time and RVP to United.  I hope Giroud hits 4 and RVP misses 2 penalties.

Yeah, the freekick from Mata was beautifull. So perfect. And yeah, it's a shame that the referees get all the attention over poor jugdement.

I still think Chelsea are the favourites as well, and they did start to make a really impressive comeback up until the red cards started to come out. It's worth remembering though that they also were down 2-0 within the first 25 minutes of the game due to an obvious tactical weakness that was exploited by United. They definitely have the talent but I still think they're going to have problems against the better teams due to their weakness along the flanks.

Man U - Arsenal should be interesting. I'd like to see Arsenal pull off an upset but they look pretty lifeless right now. I wouldn't be surprised if Van Persie hit a hat trick.

Anybody else watching this game between Reading and Arsenal?  One of the most unbelievable games I've seen.  Reading was up 4-0, then Arsenal come back 4-4 to send it to extra time.  Arsenal scores first, now Reading equalizes. Wow.

Such a good fucking match

Classic Arsenal comeback. What the fuck

Arsenal were 3 down within 20 minutes, 4 down by halftime.

Final score, 5-7

Is...is this the beginning of some kind of Chamakh rebirth? Chamakh and his ridiculous jizzy hair!

And Eisfeld is proving to be another gem.

Scoring against Reading in the 'Capital One Cup' is a lot different than scoring in the premiere league. He's probably still better than Gervinho, though.

Honestly though, why is that guy (Gervinho) still in the 1st team? He is the biggest offense suck ever - continually getting the ball in good positions but doing  absolutely nothing with it. Is it just because Arsene has a hard on for former Ligue Un players? In some games it's literally gotten to the point where his teammates don't even want to pass to him, and I don't blame them at all.

Hopefully Chamakh and Rosicky can come back into the team and put some fucking balls into Arsenal's attack.

No fucking balls. It was shit match between two shit sides, the less shitty team won.

Highlights: Rooney's botched penalty, Cazorla's last minute goal.

Do Arsenal know how to play football? I wonder sometimes. Football is not a group of guys standing around laterally in midfield and passing the ball back and forth by the way.

Oh well, we get a trophy for losing 2-1 instead 8-2 amiright guys? amiright!?

It's like they're being forced to play the Barcelona style of retaining the ball and building pressure until they can find the one pass to break through the defense. Unfortunately, they don't have any where near the amount of good attacking/creative players they would need to play that style effectively, unless it's against shit teams (even more shit than Man United). It's just the same thing as last year: fancy football with no end product. They'll be very lucky to finish 4th this year.

Nah, even against the QPRs and Norwichs, this off brand tiki taka is not working. At all. It just seems like nobody is making runs most of the time.

I watched the first half of the Derby d'Italia and it's so much more enjoyable. Something about the passing and the movement is so much more crisp and quality in comparison to that shit show at Old Trafford this morning.

My fantasy squad has been brutal.  So far this season I had 4 guys get red cards.  Just this week I had 4 guys injured or doubtful.  The only thing that sucks is your only allowed to transfer one player without penalty.  -4 if you do more than one a week.  Suarez is only of the only guys getting me points at the moment.

I'm 4th, and the SLAP top 4 has not changed in fucking forever.  I've haven't seen a red or green arrow next to my name since like GW3.  My team is very different than the teams around me too.  The foundation of my team is RVP, Baines, Aguero, Rafael, Nolan and Carzola.  Sterling was a good pickup too, his value has skyrocketed like Hazard's did.

Also since we have an Arsenal majority on here...well one of you tell why the hell Walcott has yet to start a premier league game since the opening match?

He doesn't want to sign da ting ( ::)) - I guess Wenger doesn't want to start him until he gets his contract sorted out. Might not have a choice for Schalke tomorrow though since Ramsey's injured apparently. Ramsey should not be on the fucking wing anyway

Ramsey is decent at circulating the ball when he's played centrally and making forward runs, but playing along the wings he looks like a lost little boy. It does seem bizarre to me that they aren't starting Walcott, one of their most dynamic players, during a spell when the team seems to lack any sort of attacking ambition. It looks like Wenger's playing hardball though and I don't blame him because honestly, he really isn't all that good and almost certainly does not deserve the salary bump he's probably asking for. If you were going to draw a line in the sand (one that says "we aren't going to keep selling our best players, thanks very much") it really should have been on Van Persie, not Walcott. The fact that he's English alone probably makes him worth more in transfer fees than in goals and assists.

And for the record, I'm not even really an Arsenal fan. I just find them strangely fascinating.

Well... Dortmund is one amazing team. Still a long way to go tonight but, damn me, they're probably the most exciting team out there right now! I also appreciate how their supporters completely take over any stadium they visit.

I'm watching text commentary.  I didn't know it was possible to take over the Bernebau.  Walcott proves my point again...
