I declare myself the winner of the FPL because I don't know who haphazard is and FC Marinero hasn't posted in this thread since we announced the league.

Check this out Liverpool fans:

 :o

Really? How come you like them?

(I'm not anti-Hoffenheim but they're by far the least popular team in Germany and to read this on Slap caught me by surprise)

Haha it's alright.
I had a german-class exchange 'they went in my town we went in that area' type of thing and we got pretty in touch.. most of them were Hoffenheim fans so they're the only german team I'm somehow related to/take a shine to I guess

Oh shit I think I was in the fantasy league? haven't checked that in months. I recall having RVP and Torres up front and I have no idea why I put Torres in my team. Maybe I thought he would finally come good?

If this was fantasy Europa league then that might have actually been a good strategy.

As for me, I did manage to scrape myself off the bottom and achieve mid-table mediocrity by checking my team every week and making tons of (often ill advised) transfers. There was almost no movement at the top of the table throughout, though. The people who are in the top 5 are pretty much the guys who had really good points totals from the first round of games, which may mean either that they're really good at fantasy football or the points tally ranking system is inherently anti-competitive.

And just when I was about to come say that Dortmund was looking pretty strong, Bayern goes and scores.

What about that fucker Ribery in the first half? He swung his arm straight to Lewandowski's face, and we all know that crazy ass motherfucker did it on purpose. Red card for sure.

Bayern should have had at least one player sent off but overall they were definitely the better team, particularly in the second half when they looked like scoring almost every time they attacked. I think Dortmund's defense has taken a step back this year, especially Mats Hummels.

I too am annoyed at Robben getting his redemption but even worse was Ribery with his constant diving and mini-tantrums to the ref. That combined with the whole goetze situation is making me kinda resent Bayern's success already.

nice game, but i was hoping for overtime and a penalty shootout.

congratz to bayern, but i have my concerns with the new coach and the new players ... they dont need them ... they already have the best team in the world.

I'm looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about.
