I think mine is self evident.

Anyone have Direc TV or Dish Network in the U.S that would be willing to share some log in info? Time Warner is fucking up and not getting NBC live extra which will let you watch all the games not televised online.  I'm a be pissed if I won't be able to watch certain games.  At least Fox used to show the other matches later in the day. Message me if you are willing to share.  It would be much appreciated.

I guess I'm confused. NBC is the only channel with rights to premier league now? So I have to go through my dvr and find every nbc channel with games and record them all separately? Suck.

Yeah only NBC has the rights.  They'll show 1 main match on NBC and a couple on NBC sports channel.  If your cable provider will carry Premiere League Extra they will use overflow channels to show the other matches.  I've been trying to figure out which channels these are because they don't say.  There is also NBC Sports Live Extra which will show all matches online.  I was pissed because Time Warner decided not to carry this which was why I was asking.  Someone I know who has DirecTV will let me use their login so it's all good.

Just bumped my cable package up to include NBC sports and all that shit. Extra 16 dollars but that's ok.

I just want Fox to get their paws off the Champions League. Why can't all my football be consolidated into one convenient network? NBC should bid for the rights to broadcast the Champions League

I'm not getting cable for this (and DVR).  It certainly is tempting but fuck that.  I have to resort to listening to games off of the NBC Sports App on my iPhone at work if it's a weekday match.

As for Champions League, the least Fox can do is bump down the price for their Fox Soccer 2go app.  If it's still 20 a month after they lost the Premier League I'm probably going to...still fucking buy it  :'(

Today's the day! Start of a new premier league season. Can't wait.
I'm intrigued by the fact that whenever people do fantasy football it's only ever premiere league? Is there not a la liga or bundesliga fantasy football? I'm not fussed as I'd only ever do a premiere league fantasy team just wonder if anyone does fantasy teams for other leagues?

I must be some kind of football masochist or something because I cannot resist going onto various post match comment boards and soaking up all that fucking vitriol, hate, foaming mouths, etc.

It was extremely cathartic to watch Arsenal implode, boo their own team, and then empty the stadium before the match was over after this whole Suarez saga. Piers Morgan's twitter was hilarious today.

I watch every single one of their fucking games and the highs are so amazing, but the lows you kind of learn to go numb and just watch the fucking car crash with a sense of removal and humor. You just have to.

I'm not mad. Just disappointed that an annual early season meltdown is almost a given these days when it comes to the Arsenal.

I will continue to maintain my (probably delusional) optimism.

Just joined the Slap Pals fantasy league. My team name is Gap Propagandist. Looking forward to a long season of second guessing my transfer decisions and agonizing over whether I can afford not to have Van Persie on my team.

Watched a bit of that match this morning. They've built a strong team.

Turned it off and went to get breakfast when Palace put Chamakh on

Nice.  The ground looks a bit cozier than I expected, but I think you're sitting in the middle of the biggest stand if I'm not mistaken.  West Ham looked sharp.

I have this odd feeling that Soldado will outscore him.  Then again, I've seen teams who have both.

City looked like silk, really hard to look past them this season. Chelsea looked strong also, albeit against Hull. Expected Swansea to trouble united a little more, but only saw the highlghts, so I guess that isn't a proper indication of how the game was played.

Tottenham werent all that convincing against palace. I would have liked to see a couple more goals. But 3 points away, cant argue with that! New boys looked good, especially Capoue.

Only round 1, I know. But fuck! she's gonna be an exciting season.

And...shit, it's all happening right now!

Reports are suggesting an agreement has been made for 93m + Coentrao (15m) for Bale. This along with Willian and Lamella talks apparently in advanced stages. Thats another 60m worth of player purchased plus Coentrao for spurs. Being that spurs have spent 58.4m that would take total spending to 115m-120m depending on figures. Minus 93m for bale, the 15m Fabio is supposedly worth AND the sell ons of Huddleston, Caulker, Dempsey and Parker (around 20m). And they've about broke even, more or less. That's some pretty hot business by Levy and Co.

IF this does occur the transfer market could really start to move along, as a lot may have been hinged on the Bale deal. There could be a domino effect, mainly seeing Ronaldo to united and Rooney to chelsea. Or maybe Di Maria will get unsettled and Arsenal swoop to ease the pressure they are facing at the moment. Fuck, who knows!?

Then again, I may have jumped the gun, none of this will happen as RM have no cash, Coentrao goes to united and Bale stays. Either way I'm happy. Im getting a little swept up.
