yeah, cable pretty much has all the good stuff, but you have to pay extra for the channels that have a lot of soccer except for espn 2 (standard nowadays i think) which carries champions league games live

spanish language like univision/telemundo will once in a blue moon have games from spain or italy

I wasn't really a fan until the World Cup.  That really changed my mind and since the beginning of the season I've been following the Premiership pretty closely.  Since I have cable I'm able to pay the extra five dollars a month for Fox Soccer Channel.  Which allows me to either TiVo the EPL Review Show or wake up early on a weekend and watch the match live with a mimosa.

Football is brilliant. I can only get european league matches, but the really exciting games are from the Copa Libertadore club championship's which I can't get : (

I'm with skmbskt, kinda.  played soccer for about 7 years.  Don't watch it much though.  no cable.

i was always casually into it but would get really excited about it every world cup, but after the 2002 world cup i became a big fan and started following european leagues...

i would follow mostly follow online, but on tv too when i could go to a friends house to watch a game...then i got cable i was a happy camper

last summer i went to germany for the world cup (went to us vs italy game) and had the time of my life

if you get fox sports espanol they carry copa libertadores

but yeah i love soccer... the history of the teams, champions league games, fans, the world cup it's all beautiful...and the game when it's played well

I have this half african half Japanese friend that is like a fucking animal when he plays soccer.

Some times the people get so mad, they start middle fingering him from behind and all when he takes the ball away from them.

I like soccer. I don't like accidents that happen though, and then your team is dissapointed.

3 vs. 3 are GOOD TIMES. Not high times. Just good ol times.

North America and Asia should stay the fuck out of football. It's like watching Europeans play american football, painfully embarrassing. I'm only talking about international competitions, though...

you can watch lots of games online, check out this site http://www.tvfutbol.net. its a spanish website, if you can't figure out how it works there is a FAQ page in english in the forums.
you need a good connection to get decent quality and most of the matches are only with japanese comentators... but its free and it works.

I have the same problem as most, the lack of coverage on tv in the states, uless you have some next level set up.  I grew up playing, being from a British family, and got really good. Travelled to Europe to play aswell as around the country, state team etc.  Quit in college because it was too much, less bro and more jock. Went to a few Queen's Park Ranger gaems when living in London.  Live games in the UK are off the hook.  There is no other sport where the crowd becomes so involved, like everyone singing, slaging off the ref in unision, etc.

I kinda was raised with it, being a german living in Austria. I never was exceptionally good, but I get along. World Cups are always the shit. I'm so gonna see a couple of matches live during the Euro '08 in Austria/Switzerland.

man united are playing the best football in europe right now, i hope they win at least the premier league. and barça - liverpool next week should be a great match, liverpool's champions league games are always good.
