Yeah, more of "moving him away with my head". But as the manager, surely he needs to chill a bit.

Despite having 7 players on my fantasy team not play this week I still managed to score 61 points. Pretty stoked on that. Just wish I could have known to put Steven Caulker as my captain.

Betis - Sevilla penalty shoot out was pretty entertaining. Dudes were mostly blasting balls into top corners and the Sevilla goalkeeper made two saves. Sevilla fans must be in full loco mode tonight after going through in Europe against their city rivals...

Also, Red Bull Salzburg are out! [/schadenfreude]

I totally forgot the second legs were going on. Crazy that Sevilla overturned that. In USA news, MLS sides once again embarassed themselves against Mexican opposition in the CONCACAFAFCA Champions league.  The home opener for my local club the Fire is this week and they are pulling out all the stops to get people to attend. Buy one get one Chipotle and $2 beer night haha.

Knew United would get drawn Bayern fucking Munich, we're gonna get battered. Other games look good though, I expect Chelsea to go through against PSG and Madrid look too strong for Dortmund on current form, Barca/Athletico will be a great game.

I think PSG vs Chelsea and Ateltico vs Barca will be the closest ties.  Pretty sure Dortmund will get smashed and I think United have a  bit of a chance actually.

Come on. United will be swatted like a mosquito. They aren't even half the team that Chelsea was in 2011 when they fluked their way to a one off victory. It's fun to make outlandish predictions but that's just...come on bro....bro....come on....

The most interesting thing for me will be to see how Atletico and PSG do in two-leg ties against some of Europe's biggest powers. There could be some substantial upsets in this round, and probably some really tight games.

I'm not saying they are favorites by any means, but they still have a World Class player or three capable of doing something special.  Munich was not emphatic against Arsenal in my opinion and with the leauge tied up they run the risk of complacency.   Look, I have a weird Munich-is-not-that-great-bias buried deep in my subconcious for no rational reason and you are just going to have to accept that sir weedpop.  Bastien Schweinstieger told me indirectly to die...so that could be one reason.

I like the look of Atletico but that could just be the old underdog bias at work. Dortmund are also kind of underdogs again since they seem to have been ravaged by injuries lately so they're very underweight in terms of quality personnel. I haven't been following either teams so I'm talking purely out of my ass.

Ha, even Klopp said something like "we are happy to be in the quarterfinals, where it's the cream of the crop of European football...and us." So they are pretty much aware that they are the underdogs...

Arsenal have shit the bed again against a top 4 club.

I'm too tired to even feel any anger. They've thrown it in the trash.

I'm holding out for a strong finish to the season and the FA cup.

Fucking goalfest in the premiere league today. Unfortunately my apparent inability to select the right person as captain in the fantasy league is preventing me from taking advantage.

I feel for Arsenal. They looked so good at the beginning of this season but they've kind of been steadily declining since then as far as quality of play. In all honesty I sort of expected this to happen given the difficulty of their fixture list lately, but a defeat of this kind against a title rival is crazy. On a positive note they're probably still good for the '4th place trophy' and have a good chance at winning the FA cup.

Bastien Schweinstieger told me indirectly to die....

Go on.....

Anyone see the Rooney goal? Almost identical to Beckham's against Wimbledon in '96.

Rooney's goal was even better though. On a volley while making a turn. The look on Beckham's face after the ball went in was pretty good though.

That and the second goal made my day so bad. In all honesty I knew we were going to lose, but jesus!
