Being Australian I can't stand Italy but that leave by Pirlo was beautiful. Sterling is so talented for his age it's amazing to watch. I hope England get out of the group stages, pretty cool they had 5 liverpool players starting.
So Colllin have the same t-shirts, seven years by now, at least...

Holy shit man, I knew, after the England match, that Honduras had some questionable tactics but that was horrific. Some seriously shitty challenges going in. Could have been 7 men v 10 by the end.

Plus, good work the Swiss

Pepe has got to be the dumbest player in football though. Left the ref no choice but to send him off really.

Cristiano, despite what he says is not 100%.  No Coentrao or Pepe vs. USA.  This Ghana game is huge!

U kidding me? Muller should have been sent off, diving is the definition of unsportsmanlike. Pepe just clowned him for a second for the world to see and the ref tossed him for no reason.

Serie A got really good about the diving, once saw 3 dives called in one half. Guess INTL games they just let it play

Headbutt equals send-off, pretty simple. Every player knows that, hence 'dumbest'.

Not sure if it was a dive, looked like Pepe's hand hit M?ller. Sure, M?ller made the most of it, but no direct red cards have been given for that I bet, ever. That would have been absurd actually.

Spain looked very, very weak in both matches. I don't think they even created more than one or two decent chances in total from open play. I don't know if its just a matter of being found out tactically or an aging squad but either way, 'end of an era' doesn't seem too hyperbolic in describing their performances. It will be interesting to see how far Chile can progress. They've been easily one of the most entertaining teams so I'd like to see more from them.

Chile has a great squad man a lot of these SA teams can surprise. I fully expect Uruguay to give England a run for the $$$, Colombia has a young fast team as well. Advantage because they're playing in SA but still, Brazil isn't the only game in town.

Props to the Netherlands and Chile, it's pretty crazy they just knocked out the defending champ like that. But the big winners at this point in  group B are Australia at the moment. To come in as the lowest ranked team in the competition and then give Chile a scare and then the Netherlands team that had just destroyed Spain a bigger scare is pretty crazy. And who knows how they'll do against Spain... (Hopefully pretty well despite the loss of Cahill)
So Colllin have the same t-shirts, seven years by now, at least...

That's just bad karma i have Uruguay to win, real story of today was Spain's lackadaisical effort to try and lull out a win. Reigning champs got shutout, few teams with nothing left to play for

Uruguay are a pretty well established formidable South American team, they're probably the favourites against England, just look at their front line.
