Iceland are losing 5-1 but they STILL won't lose as as poorly as Brazil did to Germany. The team is as inspiring as that "flying lawnmower" video, but all I can think about now is how association kickball ludopedium futbol football used to be my surefire source of cheap unwarranted national pride and now even that is gone. Fuck the CBF. Iceland is as big as my city and look at them.

Last but not least: I'm enjoying the Euros a lot, it's just what I needed to enjoy the sport again.

Come on now.  There were a lot of bad ones.  Pelle's was just as horrible and Schweinsteiger's went into orbit, but Zaza's run up takes the cake.

Gotta give it up to Iceland. Even 4 down at the half they never gave up. France vs. Germany should be a good one.

Stoked for Iceland also, 1st half kinda bummed me out, but they got it together and scored 2 on France, good show. On another note, GO WALES!!!!!!!!

I can't help but wonder if Hodgson would still have his job if it had been England in that quarter.

allright I'm really getting my hopes up now....... Pogba, Payet, Griezman, and Giroud: 4 different scorers!
I'm just gonna be so disappointed if we lose to Germany AGAIN.

Anyways it's been pretty entertaining so far. That Belgium- Wales game was pretty crazy too!

Sad that Iceland is gone, even losing for a bunch they never gave up and scored. Great team!

Really hyped for Wales vs Portugal now! It will be interesting to see the duel between Bale and Ronaldo. I hope Sanches shines again, that kid is really good!

No jail time though because of the Spanish rules for first time tax offenders. Kind of interesting given that the prosecutor actually ended up recommending that no charges be laid against Messi personally at the end of the trial, but it makes sense that they would want to make an example of him.

Looks like Germany's in trouble...

Portugal is playing like shit so they can fuck off themselves. I'm rooting for Iceland now!  ;D

Damn, that was a quick turnaround.

haha...anyways congrats to Portugal. They deserve to finally win a major tournament.
France had luck on its side during the previous games, but not this time. We came so close though....fuck. My son cried    :'(

The consolation prize for me is we finally won against Germany. And the 2010 fiasco is behind us. That french team is quite promising for the future. I have to say I don't understand people saying this Euro was boring. There were a lot of big upsets, tense games and awesome goals, so what's the problem?

When Iceland was out I was portuguese again... eheh

We really needed this title, when Payet killed Ronaldo it felt like some sort of revenge for us. And then the goal from Eder, the most joked on player from the team, felt like a dream. I think he doesnt even know how he scored ahah
Man of the match was Patricio for me, he saved us from lots of goals.
This was like the euro 2004 but we were Greece this time.
The euro wasnt borring at all, I bit all the nails I had and almost had a stroke too many fucking times!!

Portugal's win was a beautiful thing. To beat the hosts without their main player and captain, the best player in the world, and with a goal from young EDERZITO is the kind of stuff you wouldn't see in any serious movie. It's the happiest I've been with football in years, even though I'm not a fan of the team (besides good ol' DICK LENT [wb quaresma]). This Eurocup was great, 10/10 would watch again.

Germany beating Brazil in the last WC was a beautiful thing, CL final in 2005 was a beautiful thing. As a neutral, it's almost impossible to find anything beautiful about Portugal's run. Sure, the Portuguese are stoked, and why not? But for everyone I talked to about this, it was *farting sound and thumbs down*, and the whole tournament isn't far behind.

Not sure if trolling? Was one of the most boring tournaments I can remember, Portugal defended the whole time and won it with dull football. Was good to see how they got better without Ronaldo, personally think he brings them down as they are always looking for him and finally someone else gets to take a free kick.

Wales and Iceland were my highlights, and the nice goals, especially the vollies and freekicks. Good for Portugal though that run will probably pay for many a car-flag salesmens kid's university  ;D.
