I don't really know who to get in the transfer window. I only have one WC semifinalist in my squad, so the rest will probably be well-rested for the first match back. The one change I made was Toney for Gabriel Jesus because he's injured.

Edit: I made another change in defence but that's about it. Hope this doesn't come back to bite me in the ass.

Gakpo is a Red!   Didn’t see that coming let alone that quickly.   Good bit of business

Do you we need more men up front? Seems like with Mo, Darwin, Firmino, Diaz, Jotta plus attacking players like Cahvallio and Harvey Elliot and now Gakpo, it's going to be difficult to get a runup front. It will be interesting to see who leaves.

Hopefully we haven't spent too much on Gakpo and can sign some quality new midfielders ie Jude Bellingham as has long been tipped

$35m plus add ons that could take it to $50.   In todays market, that’s a damn steal!

Diaz and Jota are out for a bit with injuries.   It feels like like DJ might be a little cursed with injuries after he had such a great start.  Can’t really remember him having an extended run for a bit now.

Part of me thinks if someone offers enough for Darwin, they’ll take it.   He’s far from a flop or a South American Andy Carroll and he’d be having a decent first season if Haaland wasn’t there for the east comparison.   I just kinda fear he doesn’t have that mentality to soar and I wonder if his signing is part of the reason Klopp insisted on being more involved in transfers.

Firmino I love, but hope he slides into that Origi role if he gets extended.

Pretty impressed at New Castle...like the haven't gone mental spending like City did but really turned the team around.
Gakpo was a steal that that price! Liverpool looked good yesterday but still not firing on all cylinders...

Aye he's done a brilliant job there. As a partial Leeds supporter not looking forward to the match tonight. 6-1 for city is my guess...

Could've very well been, a couple misses, a couple of good saves from Messier
I too have a soft spot for Leeds, hope they stay up.

I always hate when people put own goals in blooper montages call any deflection/miskick  an own goal or don't understand how they happen at all but in this case they were both pretty bad. By no means the worst tho.
I think there was an NZ player somewhat recently that got a hatrick of own goals so that's gotta suck

Yeah just awful. I hope his teammates offer him the support he needs, because he must be so gutted right now.

Leeds getting a point was great. I hope they can stay up. The Rangers/Celtic match was a decent afternoon on the sofa with the cat tody also.

I’ll admit, Man Utd were the better team, and propably deserved to win, but that Bruno goal infuriates me.
How can that not be influencing play?
Salah’s goal in the FA cup too, should never stand.

Rennes beat PSG. I wonder if that's like winning the World Cup for these less star-studded teams.

New Chelsea guy looks like the young girl Targaryen from the first half of House of the Dragon.

Dude brings his set-up on the pitch when he won the league. Gonna throw him in my fantasy team next week. He did pay for the skatepark.

Drama brewing at the Etihad.

Cancelo on his way to join Bayern on loan.
Rumours of behind the scenes bust ups with Pep and some player. Maybe young Foden, who also isn’t playing for City.

Shame really, wonderful player.

I guess I shouldn’t be mean to Man City, Chelsea are the objects of my ire for their baffling transfer window
