I think it’d be amazing to see Pep coach a team that isn’t the richest in whichever league he’s in, but I don’t really begrudge him not doing that.   He’s basically Phil Jackson

I know we normally talk about champions league or Premier league but OM vs PSG now in the French cup has an insane atmosphere

For the American Footy Slappers: has their been any background word about McKennie going to Leeds...and then Marsch getting canned right after? I would have guessed working with JM would have been part of the draw for him to go there.

I think JM was on borrowed time for a while and  McK isn’t a big enough star to change that

Any chance he takes on the National team role?(they're without a head coach now correct?)

Aye Liverpool need a big rebuilding of the midfield this summer. Not a city fan at all but hope they knock out Red Bull. Would love for Napoli to win the champions league.

I’m a Liverpool supporter that takes no feeling of superiority being as competitive as we are whilst underspending so drastically compared to the competition.   I don’t want an Oil Daddy, but to not be outspent by fucking Everton would be nice.

This Jude shit is just going to break my heart when it doesn’t pan out (or becomes a half measure by being the only move we do)

Napoli is the real deal! In their match against Eintracht they basically played like Eintracht on their best day, but even better: fast combinations and extremely effective.

It‘s a bummer because I have been an Eintracht Frankfurt fan since I learned about football, so basically since I was three years old.

You ever watch a team...and they do the same shit every year and just find new and depressing ways to grab defeat from the jaws of victory? Well TFC showed me tonight they still have it in them to shock me with how poorly they manage both the clock and substitutions to just light 3 points on fire and say "fuck playing smart and winning - that's for other teams! We'll just not adapt to swings of play and see how it goes..."

^Well have you ever heard of the A-league? Every team sucks worse every year as well as the way it's run/ televised.

Y'all gonna watch women's world cup this year or nah?

Always try to watch Women's WC games, especially the Canadian matches - but their lead up has been a shambles due to a sponsorship scandal here where a company somehow (negotiations and books private) won the rights to both the Men's & Women's team (both who made WC) for over a decade - but at a flat rate paid out. So even though sponsorship went through the roof with the Women winning the Olympics and the guys making the WC - the money is going towards a domestic league who's numbers are tanking and the rest is a mystery.

Don't know too much about the A-League except for the background of players like Aaron Mooy and Rogic.

May I be the first to congratulate any and all Manchester United fans on their recent success.

May it not last.

As a Manchester United supporter I say thank you to the first sentiment, and nay to the second.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Good to see Man Utd have some success after a very poor last season. Ten Hag, Martinez, Casimero and in form Rashford have completely changed things up for them. With the departure of Ronaldo, things seem to be going from strength to strength for them.

Benching Maguire getting rid of toxic dudes from the dressing room really have seemed to help too. Haven't really seen them play this year, but Weghorst seems to work as striker.
Unfortunately they will only get better once they get to sign a big name striker of Ten Haag's choosing.
My money is on Kane atm, change to actually win something and gets to break Shearer's record.
