Messi scores a hat trick against Man U, beating them 3-0, and then moves to the premier league and joins Liverpool.

Manchester United 2-1 Barca

After extra time.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

I don't think Barcelona will be able to do much with no defense (Abidal, Alves, Marquez) against Rooney and Ronaldo.

If Barcelona plays against manchester like they played against real madrid, it going to be Barcelona who gets the cup for sure. I was in Barcelona when they won from real madrid and it was chaos. Too bad I left wednesday morning and missed all the excitement after the 1-1 against chelsea.
Bitches call me pussy, the horse filler.

the premier league relegations are going down to the wire, it's going to be good to see what teams are going to stay.

Messi didn't really make his presence felt nearly as much as I thought he would. He had very little time on the ball. Xavi and Iniesta were absolutely flawless though, holy shit. Those two are incredible on the ball.

Also couldn't believe how well Pique and Puyol did with such an irregular defence, Puyol's the fucking man.

Kinda blows my mind to think about Kaka and Ronaldo in the same midfield. If they gel it could be amazing, but something tells me they'll take a while to really get going.

For 100 million pounds Real Madrid could've bought Newcastle United instead.
they're a whole gang of rag tag scalliwag's, but helga in the back is definitely in it for the strudels

haha
my instincts tell me that Newcastle are going to be on sale for quite a while...

I think it's a good thing that Ronaldo has left United, great player, but the worst attitude.
I'd really like for United to bring in Ribery,in my eyes he's the only player that could even come close to replacing Ronaldo.
I just hope that Real don't get there first, where do they get their money from anyway?

there'll be too many players that want the ball at the same time, egos will definitely clash. i expect the same result as the last galacticos, no champions league, probably will win La Liga tho, i mean they have to be the favorites to win at this point

Well I guess now they have their own Xavi and Messi combo so things should be pretty tight in the league. It'll be an interesting run, that much is for sure.

He was at Manchester for a little back in 06-07 but they loaned him out and then sold him to Villarreal.

Saw the first half of Spain vs Iraq yesterday, even though Iraq played really defensive they did well to not concede. Ended 1-0 to Spain which
means they've won something like 32 games straight, thats a crazy run of form.

that third italian goal against the u.s. was too nasty, pirlo skinning the shit out of a defender on sideline, pulls it back for rossi and slams it home.

seriously though, the united states should seriously quit at football, they're so fucking bad in so many aspects of the game its absurd. hoping brazil continues to  pour it on in the second half..

What kind of comment is that? They lose against 2 of the best teams in the world so suddenly they shouldn't even bother playing? They're only going to get better at it as time goes on and the country slowly learns to give a fuck about it.

i've felt this way for a very, very long time. they luck out every 4 years cause they play no name countries in their shitty ass concacaf region, then they get rolled up in the wc. their selection process has always been horrible, and i have yet to see a manager on the U.S. squad that actually knows what they are doing. never ever have rated the us in football.

That's pretty much the story with every region that isn't UEFA. Don't get me wrong I'm no supporter of their team or anything, but they're decent enough considering they come from one of the most football-apathetic countries in the world.

I'm moving to Madrid in September.  Hopefully I can get my hands on some tickets.  Might be cheaper to go to the Madrid derby AT Athletico than trying to get seats at the Bernbau.  We'll see.
