Highly doubtful he would go to Straye, would be cool though

As for selling out? He didn't leave Zero until it was on the brink of collapse with potentially shady stuff going on with Blackbox (trying to get Mystery riders to sign a contract to then sell the brand such as Asta). Do people really think that you should stick with a brand that isn't paying you what they are contractually obligated to when you have a family to support when another brand is willing to pay you properly?
i agree with you there, but can't defend the monster sponsor tho. i wouldn't have a problem with it on gp. but the way he used to talk about energy drink sponsors, it would be like if tommy sandoval went and got on nike.

chris cole on altamont and emerica, full makeover, regular fit blue jeans, Large tee (preferably mustard), Romero's current shoe

Funny thing is, I can totally picture him like this. He's flexible like that.

Cole's BMX company, Cult, is almost entirely Vans team riders. I think he's got a good in there and would just skate Vans with almost zero responsibility/obligation to Vans that a normal team rider would be subjected too.

Think Rileys Dad with Lakai etc
Jerrys Kid : "I work at my real job like I'm a pro skater. Years of work can be summarized to about 3 minutes worth of actual achievements."

he would need to stop that 5mph tic-tac style of skating he's been doing for the last 5 years

That's a fuck ton of money and I wish I made that but I bet it was closer to 20 plus 50-100k shoe royalty checks each quarter. Keelan was making 10k from dgk as a comparison. Remember how bad of shape D.C. Was when they signed him, plus he was 2x skater of the year. Idk why I care.

I'm quite surprised none of the big name brands have offered a lot of money (or if they haven't that he hasn't agreed). Seems every brand wants to have a couple legends around to buy credibility. Nike has Lance, Adidas has Gonz, and Cons has TG. Not the same because he's always been with them, but Vans still has Cab.

I'm sure they have, but I don't think he gives enough of a fuck because Birdman has been swimming in cash since the late 90s. Difference between him and other legends is that he's already making the type of money that those sponsors are able to offer him.

Is Cole the first skater to do a flip back side noseblunt on a rail?

Did he use a launch ramp to do a flip or did he just fly into a flip off flat? Either way, the Mega Ramp Gang better be paying attention!

1970kids is some industry guy. Seems to be upset with Chris and Rob D parting ways with DC. It's probably as simple as not being able to afford him.

Frink of course is defending his corporate overlords until the very end. Don't get me wrong, all the skater owned shoe co.s have made some mis-steps, but he doesn't wanna believe that Nike/Adidas/Cons are just buying the business. Biggest hypocrisy in all of the skate industry.

Cole was one of a few guys to get $1mill a year contracts with DC.

So, no, he wasn't getting $10k/month.

and lets not forget taxes y'all....mans is in the ~40% bracket ($121,505.25 plus 39.6% of the amount over $418,400)...so if this is true he brings home around 40k a month after taxes
