I made this weird stop motion / 2D music video for my friend's recent release on a local independent label, spacey samply instrumental hiphop -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN3EIDdCiJQ

And here are some recent A4 prints I'm trying to flog to fund a group show next month, our restrictions are eased at the end of the month a bit so hoping it won't all be online -

Have you shown these before? I feel like I recognize you

Naww I just made these the other day, you may have seen them in some kind of horrible dream though haha, *hope to see some more of your work soon btw!

I need some suggestions for gluing paper pieces onto a oil over acrilic on canvas. Usually lots of paint on the canvas

Its been a bit but I been using
modge podge letting it dry
then doing a few layers of superglue over that.

It just doesn't stand the test of time.

Thanks guys, here’s another based on a photo I took in Mexico City. Oil pastel. These are such a pain but gratifying. I’ll let this thread breathe for a whole after this! Thanks for peeping

Hey thanks a lot man! I made the textures out of clay, painted them then photographed them and put them onto photoshop to make them look a bit weirder. The wee building type things at the back are bits of cardboard I sewed together haha. Edited the whole thing on Premiere but I think I could've made it easier and better with After Effects, I've tried to wrap my head around that software a few times but my attention span is battered haha

i've been getting more into art, at least following cool accounts on Insta. mainly people with good sketching skills (@fredoichi is phenomenal), or plein air painters. i like that impressionist feel.

this one dude Matt Bollinger caught my eye the other day with some of his recent stuff. awesome subject choices.

@funeral_tuxedo I used a program called Krita. It's like a photoshop alternative, but better for drawing imo, it's got a lot of natural brushes, pencils. It's also free. My process is pretty basic, I start out with a horizon line and vanishing point, and then start shading in basic shapes until I get some idea.

I've posted these twice before but that quality was below par.
I was cleaning up my hard-drive, came across them and I rendered these in good quality.

They were pitched to The Workshop in 2013-2014 I believe?
I can't remember.

I said they could use/have them for free.
But they never really got back to me and I was pretty disappointed since they were my fav company.

So they were never used.

@DISTANT RUMOURS I think I saw you post these on an AWS Habitat Facebook group and I commented that they had a strong quality like Charles Burns' figures, yeah? Anyways, awesome stuff.

Lovely skart, man. It sounds cathartic too. I really should make that DT voodoo doll still, I don't care if he's out of office. I want to be cruel as fuck to that thing.

Thanks man. That’s a beautiful machine. It’s great to have one around, can always get back into it. I made a ton of face masks for friends / family / donation at the beginning of the pandemic after not using mine for years, was fun making something with more to it again. Hopefully I’ll keep it going.
