Fuck yeah, everyone's got good shit... I love this thread!
I pulled out a bunch of old sketches and comics from back in college. I did a strip for our campus paper for about two years, but I don't know where my stash is at the moment... anyway, one year while living in the dorms, I'd tape up a new comic strip to my door every day. Most were just absurd, but some people started digging them. I literally have hundreds of these with varying levels of quality and humor. You might have to right-click and view the images by themselves because I scanned them at a semi-high resolution and the forums scale-down pics:
I also used to make copies of random comics and post them around campus:
At roughly the same time as all of this, I did a 'zine-quality self published comic bookcalled the "Eliminator". I did 10 issues, at about 30 pages each (front and back) in a little over a year. The comic book was called "The Eliminator," which revolved in a place called Grim City, about a psychotic superhero whose main super power was the ability to yank any kind of gun from his backpack... the backpack had an endless supply of weapons, and the backpack itself was permanently attached to him because his outfit was symbiotically connected to him (like Venom and Spawn). There are two (non connected) pages from the 5th issue, where the Eliminator goes to hell:
...the comic book also contained comic strips peppered throughout. This was the last page of the second to last comic book I ever did:
Some random strips that are and aren't quite so old:
I started laughing when I got to the third frame on this, I didn't want to add anything to it:
This last one is a recent sketch up of the Eliminator, as I may animate him in some Flash cartoons:
Last things, here are some old Flash cartoons:
The Hospitalhttp://www.grimcity.com/flash/hospital.htmlMike B Part Three (the last of a trilogy, I posted this one because it's my personal favorite. The characters are friends of mine):
http://www.grimcity.com/flash/mike3.htmlCrapple (I worked freelance for a while for a design firm that had Alienware as a client, this was something I threw together for them for shits and giggles, it was never meant for real use... I think it's something they passed around the office a long time ago. And I don't really have anything against Macs, if I can pay off some debts I actually want to get a Macbook Pro for video editing on the field):
http://www.grimcity.com/flash/crapple.htmlSorry for the huge dump... I just have so much of this shit that it's fun throwing it out there, lame or not.
Eric.. I want a Val Kilmer shirt. That shit's hilarious.
