I really preferred when Polar was a bunch of socially awkward rippers from Europe drinking apfelsaft and skating almost solely the scandi crust.
And I still love polar and Pontus and I like the Wilsons too.. the first two are just not the same anymore and andrew do not fit on polar, better on alltimers 917 etc.

This is an astute observation beyond just Cyrus. Gunez Ozdogan and Jan Kliewer both had 1 ad and left rather abruptly.

Polar is the best thing in skateboarding right now, so good for Andrew.

personally, my main interest in any company is the team an vibe that the group gives off, thats what makes or breaks it for me, wether or not its believablebas as a group of people that would actually skate together/ have complementary styles or esthetics. and i find the art direction and board shapes good in polars case so whats not to like? actual question, what are you not into about it and whats a company you prefer?

that said, losing kevin and adding andrew makes me less interested in polar, even though i like anddrews skating

I don't know about Gunez but Jan Kliewer never left he is just a dad in his 40's  who still skates (very well) but isn't trying to have an active skate career. He still rides polar boards and featured in .... don't wake me this time aka the polar video.
