Brink just posted this on his insta. The shit Odell is saying seems like a harsh situation. What is paradox grip? Also it's pretty idiotic that Tim Oconor condemns the word fag but blatantly uses the word regular(yes tons of people find that word extremely offensive).

If my memory serves me correctly, paradox grip was on Slap and got kooked out of the forum.  All I can remember is that he's the worst.  For those who don't know, Paradox grip is griptape with a small magnet sheet in it (like power balance)...It's regular.  I'm surprised they still exist.

I when I worked at a shop this dude messaged the facebook page about selling paradox. We were selling Jessup, and the relatively new mob. The owner declined because no one had heard of it, and unlike mob, it wasn't being recommended by NHS or eastern skate supply, and kids weren't asking for it.

He called up the shop and was gave us crap, for not being skater ran (The owner's moms helped out and would answer the phone) Carrying Jessup which was not skater owned(I never confirmed) and how mob was a gimmick/fad.

Wouldn't be the first time. I know someone really close to me who was in a relationship with a guy for 8 years, and then they were married for about a year. Once they move to California, he abruptly came out of the closet and relocated to San Francisco. It was foul, since that was the girl's first and only relationship with a guy. He even took the dog, to add insult to injury.

That said, I know the dude behind Paradox has the mentality of a preteen in the 90's who just started listening to Eminem. Coming out to your friends and family can be rough, regardless of how accepting they are. Most of the time the feared backlash is all in your head and people are cool about it, but everyone is their own worst enemy. I like how Paradox pretends that he's never had an issue with how he's perceived by others. I guess you have to be numb to what others think if you're gonna pretend that crystal spirits live in your griptape and help you land your tricks.
