People hate on Santa Cruz a lot but I tried one of their decks and it's rock solid. I can't break the thing (and I'm a fat ass who lands wrong all the time). I am really impressed with the quality of it. Plus Indy trucks. That goes without saying.

DLX -
Good boards, good shapes. I like Anti Hero but I'm sure the Real decks are pretty much the same thing.
Thunder is my preferred truck right now.

Skate One-
Haven't had a Powell deck in years, but the ones I had were decent.
Bones bearings and wheels alone warrant them being on any list.

Vans - I'm wearing a pair now. Age, weight and years of abuse have taken their toll on my feet. I can't skate in vulcs. But Vans support and contribution to skateboarding is undeniable.

PS Stix- Paul has been doing it forever. It's sometimes hit or miss but Paul was probably the mastermind behind 3/4's of the innovations in skateboard technology in the last 30 years.
