I'd say the concept could intimidate new posters with thinner skin and make them post only a couple of times, or not even join at all.

i watched that episode of black mirror where people rated each other last yr and i got real indignant and highfallutin that i wasn't gonna gnar anymore or like anything on fb. it didn't last very long but i think there'd maybe be more honesty w/out reps or less crowd pleaser posts.
didn't wallie d say something to that effect before he went crazy right wing and burned his collected goodwill to the ground?
i spose w/ out reps how will we know when he photoshops his way into the fans' lives again and turns babyface?

For someone who "doesn't care" about being able to gnar/kook you sure are trying to hit that 1000 post count quick. You've posted nearly 200 times in a 2 week span.

I've lurked around this place forever, now it just has to come out. I'm happy I finally found the courage to sign up and express myself without being self-conscious.

Sorry for abusing the server, yo. I will say this : I promise to never use the feature once I can. You can all hold me to that.

Anyone who argues that there is a correlation between the quality of someone's post and their Rep is an idiot.

I'd say the concept could intimidate new posters with thinner skin and make them post only a couple of times, or not even join at all.

We're a bunch of clowns getting a quick/cheap rush every time we get a "like".

We're just like them.

That's the fucking point

I knew a lotta dudes in high school with a similar mentality. Some of them got held back a few years. Truly inspiring people.

Stop rep shaming. You're probably one of those people that doesn't think little league should keep score because it's about participating.

I like how people will publicly gnar someone but the kooks always seem to be anonymous. Being a hater is embarassing.
