Got a new board today! It's about 9.0 in the front and 8.5 in the back with a 14.5 in wheelbase. Not quite ready to set it up but I'm stoked on the graphic.

Sickest thread!!
Fuck yeah both those graphics are good. What bushings you got in those indys?

Set this board up today and gave it a quick roll.  Feels amazing.  I put these trucks straight on from my old board which were silent, then on this one they were squeaky as hell.  Board feels higher too.  Weird.

looks really good nice grip job. That’s a 32” x 14.38” wb? What’s the rear taper to?

Dimensions are;
LENGTH: 32.0in
WIDTH: 9.25in
WHEELBASE: 14.38in
NOSE: 7.125in
TAIL: 6.875in
And the tail tapers to about 8.5

Had to split the grip to make the width

I’ve had a couple 8.75” Coda decks and they have been some of my favorites. Too small for the big boy thread.

Stumbled across this and thought you guys might be stroked on Julian's first board
10.25" x 32.26"
14" or 14.5" wb
Modern measurements would be 7.125" tail, 6.375" or 5.875" nose
Had rocker concave

Baker 9.1x31.8 (if I remember correctly)
Venture 5.8 (stock w/ bones top washer)
F4 101 56mm classics

I picked this up last spring and had it set up with some Ace 55s and the same F4s. It was quickly relegated to strictly cruiser status, OJ Super Juice and all, I couldn’t pop the thing for shit. Shuffled some gear around (55s back onto my regular 8.5” set up) and threw these Ventures on if for no other reason than both deck and trucks were just laying around at that point. Long story short, I can finally skate this thing the way I originally intended. Neighborhood cruising, ollieing manholes, blasting out of curb cuts and the like. They just repaved most of my neighborhood so the streets are super smooth and the F4 101s are perfect. Probably not worth it to buy Ventures in the appropriate size, I’ll just keep these 5.8s on here a while until I want to use them again elsewhere.

Slept on Dane's shape for what feels like years. Finally gave it a shot and I am now filled with undying regret.

I overpaid for the reissue with the intent that I was gonna ride it but it's super big. An absolute boat. I didn't think I could actually fuck with it but I never realized it had such a short wb. Now I'm thinking about it. I always wanted it when it was current but no shop ever got it in near me. It's a sick wall hanger nonetheless.

After cruising around after an injury on my Dane1, its got me wanting to chuck some conical fulls on and skate it every day. Not sure if I like 1/8" risers with it though, considering 1/4" but have never skated them.

To me 1/4s on aces feel great, on indies a little tall and I need extra width with it too. 169 on 1/4s is okay on 159’s to tippy.

The Dane is fun, I guess rightfully one of the most popular big shapes at the moment.

I'm not really a wallhanger/collector kinda guy but no way would I ride that board. It's too cool as a wallhanger!! I'd think about it if I had 2. Maybe.

Probably not worth it to buy Ventures in the appropriate size, I’ll just keep these 5.8s on here a while until I want to use them again elsewhere.

isn't the wheelbase under 14" on that board? i wanted to try it for that reason but never found it
