Saw it the other night. It was amazing. Good to see Edinburgh getting some shine. Great to see them kill off many major characters. Too bad, those of us who read the Infinity Gauntlet back in 91 or so, know it's not permanent...

Well also they've confirmed at least new spider-man and GOTG movies. So it's obviously not permanent.

It was good but there were no stakes. It's only possible that four of them aren't coming back.

Spoilers are cool, yeah?

I think it's cool that all the o.g. avengers are alive the snap.

During the battle on Titan with Thanos, couldn't have Dr. Strange turned back time after their failed plan? (knock out Starlord the second time around to avoid waking Thanos from his nap)

Yeah he could’ve, but I think seeing as he had millions of outcomes knowledge, maybe the 1 where they win in the end had starlord fucking things up

They're gonna hit that hard with Ant Man and fill out Thanos' backstory in Captain Marvel, then we'll see a road trip through time/previous Marvel movies so Tony can get the infinity stones in his Iron Gauntlet before Thanos does, but Cap will do the snap and sacrifice himself to the soul realm to complete his story. Remember this post.

I'm with it considering all the talk about balance and the avengers not wanting to sacrifice a life for the greater good.

Cap was always the guy so it makes most sense for him to die.

It could also very well be Stark who sacrifices himself, maybe that's why Dr. Strange was willing to give up the stone to save him. Would also help complete his arc from douchey weapons tech billionaire when we first meet him. Maybe Cap and IM will both die. I don't know. Forget this post.

Also, Chris Evans isn't coming back after Avengers 4. So he has to die.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Didnt think of it going that route. Totally plausible.

I want IM to die. Cap should die too but it would be good to give him a proper send off and giving the CA mantle to Bucky.

Also Doctor Strange has a plan. There's a reason why he let Starlord throw a fit and saved Stark. The way to victory is to lose the battle.
