He's right about how pros need to be able to skate everything (transition).  Sorry Mike Mo.

Mike Mo typifies why Crailtap are so boring these days - flavourless.

If he had ever for one second given a shit about his career and didn't golf cart himself into retirement he'd be legendary.
Nah.  Tons of flatground and ledge wizards out there already.

Dear is very affected. 3D was boring. We are all doomed. It's ok.

This interview is great. The story about the monitor was funny.

Still the way skating changed and tech skating became less relevant. It is funny how it worked out in alex’s favor.

Another awsome interview.  After listening to this and his bunt interview, I continue to like Alex more and more. His self deprecating attitude is funny and he comes across as really self aware. He spoke pretty openly about reason for leaving his sponsors, espically girl and lakai.  I also like how he express his dissapointment with pretty sweet and Ty’s direction with skate videos.

Pretty sure this is it:

Wow this is an awesome sequence. The frame with his nose practically pitching into the transition flat bottom is gnarly

I think he was more implying that they don't typically have the impact they did in the 80s/90s, but was talking in hyperbole to drive the point home... or maybe I'm rationalizing what he's saying because he's so handsome.

lol...ahh I couldn't tell if he had to stop himself from going on a rant by re-adjusting to that comment.  Sounded like he wanted to go off , but didn't want to get into industry beef.

I'm glad he admitted he has no idea what he's doing. The part where he's one the one hand saying he's working til sundown and the next second admitting he's essentially sending cliparts to the board manufacturer is pure gold.

This makes me like his business efforts more so than when everyone speculated in his pre-meditated contrived ways of going about his companies.

I think Roger freelances with viceland at least to some degree. He filmed and edited the BA is BGAY thing.

I like AO a lot, I liked his Vans shoe (wasn't there at least a semi-cupsole version?) and have never seen one of his boards in person.

They were half joking about getting meetings with spike a few episodes back. I wouldn’t be surprised if nine club ended up there. Also the Meza connection.

If it means the format doesn't change, and they still have complete creative control I don't see why they wouldn't do that. These dudes need to get paid. Skate media is boring in 2018, no one is reading the mainstream magazines, and skate footage itself comes and goes at such a rate that no one can keep up.

The nine club needs to capitalise on this.

Kid brand. Wack. Austin Gillette.

Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

I'm wondering how long they can keep up with the caliber of these guests, the past few weeks in particular has been filled with just legends.

Still would like to see:
Joe Castrucci
Tim O'Connor
Heath Kirchart
Scott Johnston
Tim Gavin
Kelly Bird
Zered Bassett
Tony Trujilo
Anthony Van Engelen

No way in hell Vice is devoting upwards of 90 minutes to a weekly skateboard talkshow no matter the connections to executives within the network. If they carry the show over to Vice it will die a slow 30 minute with 7 minutes of commercial death. It would be nice if there were "Specials" broadcast on Vice kinda like the Lakai Premier, but the show needs to stay on youtube.

He seems rad and he's real straightforward. I like it that he doesn't pretened to have any idea what he's doing. A creative director who doesn't understand image sizes and "I can't work with schedules", now that's a recipe for a successful company. I love that.

Allen.

Alex seems much more tentative than his dad, but he sure has his knack for candor. Made for another great episode. We're in for a few duds I imagine.

Is a micky Reyes episode at all likely to happen? If stories by him match those about him, it should be good.
