Bobby doesn't want the tnt thread derailed, so let's talk about Slap, these rules, and how they're enforced...

When we register we agree to a certain code of conduct for the board. However, in enforcing this code of conduct, mods pick and choose what they want to enforce, and who they place punitive measures on. Then when asked why someone is threatened with a ban, be it permanent or temporary, they point back to the rules.

These rules...

So what's the difference, honestly between asking about a urine soaked bed and being forced to see a gif of a girl take a shit on a rug? Both are unwanted, both constitute sexual harassment, and both violate the code of conduct. What's the difference between airing out someone's personal business and their real name, and posting a redacted photo of someone with no other identifiers? Address the double standard. You can't pick and choose and then run to the code of conduct as why. Mods treat this place like their personal fiefdom and I want to hear why.

I've raised this before, and I just get deflected, undermined, ignored, and insulted. I come here to talk about shoes, things I'm stoked on, and to call out people who are racist. I'm really not trying to look at a dude hanging from his nutsack.

Bobby admitted that it was a "grey area for sure" in the other thread, and I certainly see Warlock's point. I personally think we could self-regulate. Much appreciation for the ones doing the maintenance on this thing, but can't we take care of the moral shit collectively?? The shit posters get vibed out and I'm sure we'd pull through if real-world actions needed to be taken to prevent tragedy.

Hey! 5inchdick is awesome, and I didn't even remember we had a "code of conduct".

Yeah, obviously most of those rules aren't always strictly enforced, I'd say they're more guidelines for how you should try to conduct yourself on here.

Slap isn't some publicly owned thing, that needs to abide by the First Amendment. Mods can ban you, me, or whoever, for whatever reason. Just stick in the stoked and shoes thread then, if you can't handle the rest. You also always have the option to block people.

It sounds like you're just mad cause you said something ignorant in the TNT thread, but there's so many posts in there, I can't really remember.
