Snowboard culture from the
golden myspace glory days

If that had run another 2 minutes I'm pretty sure we would have seen a game of soggy biscuit!

I've always felt like if we were meant to be in the water we'd be able to breathe there. Too many creepy crawlies for me. I stay far away from the ocean.

I like skiing more than snowboarding. If there's some bullshit that equates skiing to rollerblading, I really don't care. Snowboarding's uncomfortable, your legs are stuck in one position all the time, feels weird to me. But both of them are expensive and inaccessible. Snowboarding's cool, just not for me.

I just treat snowboarding like bombing a hill for pussies. You get to go just as fast, but it only hurts like 10% as much when you fall. So what I mean to say is it's super fun if you're a pussy like I am.

it's kinda funny to see snowboarding really blowing up for this Olympics and old guys on TV in Japan in suits discussing switch stance and caballerials. I watched a special yesterday where the guy on the ground was angry because Shaun White took gold and not the Japanese guy.
"Shaun White didn't *spin* as much"
*asks an actual snowboarder his opinion*
"Well there's this thing called 'style' too"
"I don't know about that, I'm just calling it how I see it"

Gives a bit of a scary insight to how skating will be judged/ viewed too

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

I really do pray that Pine can win with a quad kf down the set. How do we make this happen?

Then it sounds like you want to tele and free you're heels too (like skateboarding).  I saw a tele super pro murder a big mountain line once it was graceful.

Didn't even know what that was, telemark skiing. I like, thanks for showing me.

Snow is 95 percent air. If you've ridden a powder day you know why it's amazing.

Surfing is incredible. Screaming down the line of a wave as it walls up in front of you is awe inspiring. It also works your upper body which is a nice break for those of us who have spent decades skateboarding.

The accessibility of skateboarding is what makes it so rad. You can just go without having to wait on nature to provide the goods.
