Yeah, I was eight years old when I discovered the original DragonBall before DBZ was a thing in America.  It's my childhood comfort food.  I can totally see how it is incredibly stupid as well, but whatever, so is skateboarding hahah.

Yeah, I am bummed there isn't a Tien deck, that would have been my obvious pick but instead I had to have a super hard decision to make this morning.  I'm stoked, but not as stoked as I would have been if I had Tien.

So I'm in the best financial place I've ever been in my life, and after making one order I was debating if I should make another to get the crazy shaped cruiser deck, and I had a feeling and went for it because I felt like I'd be bummed if I didn't get it.  Checked back a few minutes later and it was sold out, I might have got the last one.

Spending money on skateboarding and DBZ simultaneously is so weird and the best for me.

Shiiiit black kids fucked with DB & DBZ pretty heavy back in the day, including me and most of my friends. I know dudes who've seen the whole series multiple times and dont know shit about any other kind of anime. I'm sure there's fraudulent fans out there like the dudes who only wear band shirts for their colors/trendiness but for the most part, it doesn't surprise me that the artists of today (who grew up during that era) have such reverence for DBZ.

funny how the characters on the show matches the sk8er. one of the mcclungs is krillin, because no one cares about either of them. lol at devine's board being piccolo, the "ethnic" character. prod is goku the main guey.

The rider/character choices are interesting. I like P.Rod & Shane as Goku & Vegeta and I have a feeling that Najera & Riberio actually watched the show and wanted those characters because they fit pretty well. Frieza/Bastien makes sense too since they're both kinda like the "classic phenom" guys, Cell & Tucker both got that smug/cocky vibe..Wade probably doesn't know shit about the show so they stuck him with Raditz last minute

There's a certain part of DBZ where they have five minutes to finish a battle while the planet they're on is about to explode... the remainder of the fight takes at least 5 episodes, possibly even a double digit amount of episodes lol

It is almost a running joke now, they are still doing it with DBS.  They say "There are five minutes left.." and three 20 minutes episodes later, still going, hahahahah!
