I have a buddy that was the captain on the Maple Leafs farm team before joining some European pro hockey league that is a really good tech skater. Does that count?

Nike has that Gino and John McEnroe collab 8 years ago that seemed to make sense somehow. Tennis players are perfectionists and seem to appreciate style

I definitely think as a whole tennis players and golfers would be good at skating, very similar activities mentally, especially tennis.

jr smith would probably have a great nosegrind but you'd have to catch him in a certain mood. plus if he played a game of skate he'd tie the other guys shoes together.

zach lavine and lebron james for highest ollies, that would be fun to watch.

joel embiid seems like he'd become one of those guys that rides for hopps and has a great instagram account. then he puts out a really great part and gets crazy shoe money from adidas.

i used to play hockey and skate with a guy by the name of gilbert brule. drafted sixth overall in the 2005 nhl draft.

he was the best at skating out of the bunch, and spent the least amount of time skating due to playing a fucked amount of hockey. he had to give it up when he got signed to a junior team, but he would've been incredibly good at skating today if he'd been able to continue doing it.

i fully back the theory that athleticism caries over very well into skateboarding.

Hahaha, that's crazy. Dude played way too reckless a style for his size at the NHL level. Great junior player though.

I heard the top prospect in this years NHL draft used to skateboard and can atleast kickflip.

I can picture Steve Nash being good for some reason.

That's because growing up skating, you're bound to have at least 2 friends who look like Steve Nash. Hell, Steve Nash also kinda looks like a guy who'd fall asleep on your couch smoking a cigarette. You meet a lot of people like that through skateboarding.

Tyler Saladino plays for the Chicago white Sox. I heard he skated and is Doug "Pineapple" Saladino's nephew.

Aussie rules footballer Gary Ablett Jr.

I've seen him land kickflips online somewhere.

I think at some point a high center of gravity and a lot of weight/muscle becomes more of a hindrance than help so I generally don't thing most freak of nature type athletes would do well.

I could see soccer/tennis players and gymnasts having abilities that transition better.

I wouldn't say he went close to Gator status but partying with a young chick who ends up overdosing on drugs he supplied is not a good look.

Yeah but he and his buddy told no one for hours after even when hotel staff came knocking. She was cold by the time anyone got in that room.
