All the Specialz and Gazelles rule for skating. And the Continental 80’s are awesome to skate in. But adidas sizing can suck it. They are all over the place.

I haven‘t skated them, but I have worn them. They seem very solid and good for skating. A wide shoe with a fairly thick cupsole. After you‘ve broken them in they should be fine.

Skated just fine once they broke in (which did take a while.)

Today I tried Sambas OG and they were really nice.
Didn't needed to put any other insole or anything, just superglue on the stitches and they were ready to go.

Has anyone tried both the Forums and the Liberty Cup? I noticed the outsole pattern is the same between them, so I'm wondering if the Forum sole feels similar to the Liberty Cup, which wasn't the prettiest shoe, but felt perfect under my feet.

The Liberty cup actually used the same midsole/outsole as the Forum Bounce, not the regular Forum, but used a different sidewall wrap. It’s a quite diferente construction from the regular forum so I imagine it will feel fairly different.

Yeah they definitely feel different, but after swapping insoles for something slightly more substantial my Forums made for a wonderful pair of shoes. Not on the Liberty Cup level though. My broken in Liberty Cups were something special.

Thanks for this! I didn't know the Forum Bounce existed, but looks like finding some is now going to be my new obsession.

they came out like 3+ years ago ahaha Good luck with that! ;D also not sure what’s the material used for the sidewall of the outsole. Might be soft, just a watch out.

Yeah, I looked - they're nowhere to be found. Back I go to hunting down more of the 1.5 tasteful colourways that they made of the Liberty Cup.

Asics Japan S in white/ gum.

The gum sole is reeeaaaaaly flexible but weirdly I’m fine with it.

I replaced the insoles bc they were way too squishy. Just put some normal ass ones from a pair of numerics.

Skate pretty well. A few sessions in.

I think we are just so used to really low cuts like vans era’s, chucks or janoskis that these almost look like a midtop. But they aren’t that tall I think.

skated this pair in a different colorway. They feel pretty stiff like all Club Cs at first but they are good. Would 100% put superglue on stitching but otherwise perfect skate shoe (lose grip later)

Just ordered these for 65 CAD, have experience with club c's but these have a much thinner sole (although the tread seems as deep as Club C's). Excited to skate these as im coming off some worn ass club c's with the soles almost balding they should seem as squishy/thin as these.

Has anyone skated chuck 70s? I’ve seen Bobby D skate them a lot as well as brad cromer, I found a pair on Depop for $20. I have a friend who wears them casually and the canvas on them is super thick, I think if I did a super glue Ollie bumper I’d definitely be able to get away with them durability wise.

they skate pretty good just like regular chucks. the canvas is a bit more durable but not by a lot. definitely worth it for 20 though. put in some better insoles as well.

Just skated a pair of Adidas top ten Hi's, super soft and were pretty much broken in on day one. I'd definitely recommend to anyone wanting that high top basketball feel

Been skating 70s for a few weeks now, doing a ton of heelflips. Have barely touched the upper bc of how high the tape is

That shoe skates really well! The outsole is soft enough to break in quickly and the boardfeel is really good too. Just superglue all the seams tho, otherwise it will fall apart quite quickly…

Was looking at the top ten lows and they look a little bit like dunks to me.

Could just be my eyes tho.

Does anyone know the differences between all the Reebok club c models are in terms of performance? I have a pair of club c revenges that I like and have seen a lot of memt’s on sale for pretty cheap- but the soles look a little different.
