That looks like a shoe from an early 2000's b tier brand. Like power or link

That Russian skate company PACCBET did a shoe with hi tec about 2 years ago

didn't realise hi tec was ever big in the UK
I kinda thought they were a lesser known hiking boot brand that was kinda cool

Side note: I'm waiting for someone to post the new Palace club c mids in the main thread

Can someone point me in the direction of a comfy slip on or minimal style shoe. Similar to a Vans or Last Resort but with a little more support. Been wearing some NB 311s for work so long that any time I wear Vans they kill my feet.

Same here, I thought Hi-Tec was a Canadian brand. Used to wear their hikers in the 90s with cut off work pant shorts and long underwear underneath ahaha. These exact ones:

Been looking forever for some 90s Hi-Tec hikers but really hard to find in my size in good shape. I think the aesthetic of them is still perfect and with some tweaks would look amazing as something skateable.

Part of the reason I liked the brown/green Half Cab Timbos is because they reminded me of 90s hiking boots.

LRAB cup’s got my interest.
Would love to give my shoe dollar$ to an actual skate shoe brand, owned & operated by skateboarders.
But THAT’s a different thread, I reckon.

Found some Adidas Top Tens for $25 from Burlington and Forum Mid for $44 from Adidas outlet within the last week (super nice brown cordura CTAS mid for $30 too) Feeling much better about my footwear situation now. Top Tens first, they feel great so far. Thinner cup.

Those are all great finds.

In my quest to find wider shoes, I came across these:

The amount of advertising sucks, but I really like the shapes of indoor soccer shoes.

Mentioned this in the New Balance thread. These would be perfect with an insole.

Those look like foot immobilization tech.
And I’ll take it.
Look sick. I’m old and just like the look of that era. That style of sole…I’m in

I think the 550 and the 650 look great and definitely think that's an aesthetic that's really missing in the skate shoe market. 90s trainer style. But also I don't know if anyone has checked them out in person but the 550s fit mad clunky in the toe and the sole is rock hard. To the point that I don't even think they'd be comfortable for chilling in.

But if they made it skateable I'd be super into it.

These seem great for skateboarding. NB audazo. It is an indoor soccer shoe.

There different versions of the shoe. I am too dumb to post a photo here so you need to click the links:
