only skated one pair, but something i always liked about the sugis

ponys skate just like pumas, used to skate the lows a lot 10 years ago, quality may be different now

[close]

Those pony’s are almost exactly a blazer copycat, literally the shape and stitching and all

Just the sole is different and no swoosh

Blazers? WTF you smoking? They look like Adidas Businetz

I know these technically were skate shoes but puma should bring these back. They look pretty fun. I just discovered them the other day

throw some fat laces in some suede classics and you're ALMOST there, yeah?

Almost, but still so far. I need that puffy tongue and heel collar

i want to skate new balance kawhi pro models, even though they have the ollie pad on the wrong side. they look kinda dope to me. i'm on this crazy flamboyance tip lately tho, like i started being into loud colors and patterns.

these are the most boring colorway, they remind of aves a bit, too:

EDIT:

i also caved in recently and bought these for the rainy season:

i won't skate these, but i was always curios how mowabbs would skate. got these half a size up so i can wear em with winter socks, but if i got another pair i'd try to skate them. the sole isn't completely flat, but it could still work. they are super comfy.

i agree wish puma would just add some padding to their classics and they would be a great looking shoe.

Converse one star suede are amazing - unsure if they are made still or the quality they were in the 90s... -

Fieyue's  (martial arts shoe / parkour/ free running) are really great but don't last long (if you want ultra feel of the board)  ultra light
downfall of Fieyue -  aside from no suede upper - is there is no protection for your achilles (like most low cuts) I got tagged by a runaway skateboard into my achilles while wearing them...     they do have built in ollie protection and amazing toe cap of rubber. Shoe costs $25 USD -  If only Fieyue would make a more robust design with suede upper I'd pay the extra $10.

FYI, just found these on 6pm. Looks like Ipath Cats. I know they're lugz, but for the price I got two pairs for 60 bucks, free shipping.  Minimal branding. I am going to chop the remaining logo off with a razor and live in the past, despite what my therapist thinks.

and yes, this is how I feel currently as I await my package.

I tried the PUMA Smash today. They're ok, not as much boardfeel as vans, converse, nike or adidas. They have a thin cup sole which is nice, very cushiony, SO comfortable buuut the cupsole obviously means less flexibility/boardfeel in this case. I'd say they feel similar to the Lakai sole. Won't skate in them much again because I prefer other skate shoes with a vulc sole buuuut seeing as these retail for like 30-40 euros, not bad if you like cushiony impact-support shoes and are on a budget / don't have a skate store in your town

I remember not being too hype on the suede outsole. maybe they felt mushy for too foamy. I do remember liking the clyde sole that was super thin. The whole clyde shoe is just super thin actually.

these show up all the time, and I've never given them a shot. I do like puma

It appears Clarks makes the best knockoff of Ipath's knockoff of a Clarks... the Clarks Cambro Mid.

I also tried the Adidas VS Pace. Got these for 33 DOLLARS! Such a nice vulcanized sole with great nubuck type material. So comfortable. BUT CHANGE THE INSOLE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CMEtLC3oV4

If we’re talking about knockoffs of knockoffs, about 11 years ago Vans made a shoe called the 106 vulc, which is basically a thinned out (to the point of being unskateable) chukka low. For a few seasons, they made a 106 with a moccasin toe. Gentlemen, behold:

I had a black suede pair and they were way too thin to skate when I was 19, but if they beefed these up a little, they’d be amazing.

bought a pair of these since they reminded me of a classier ipath/ wallaby, just for showing up to work. I do not think they are skateable. The outsole is suuper gummy rubber that would probably get destroyed by griptape super fast.

Picked up two pair of non skate forum lows at the adidas outlet the other day, gonna put them through their paces and see what’s up, tired of seeing the same shit on everyone’s feet where I skate.

Just snagged these for $50. They look sick, kinda similar to a Dunk. Hope they skate decent!

Regular dunks and Jordan 1?

AJ1 are more comfortable than normal dunks and takes impact better

No idea if these already came up, but these look pretty incredible.
That upper with a clean cupsole (no ridges) would be amazing (although i like it the way it is already)

Might pick these up to try and skate in.

have you skated superstars?
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo
