Does this also apply to Lavar's Trilogy part? In general, I agree, but there are exceptions.

kader's little kid style really only comes out when he slams/bails. ..Most of his tricks looks full grown to me.

Lavar was younger than Kader in Trilogy I'm pretty sure. I think he was 13 or 14. Kader is currently 15. He also kills 20 shot where he's even younger.

Lavar absolutely had grown up style though.

Kader is the antithesis of the 7.75 flatground flip n ledge skater

He skates bigger than himself, and he throws himself into every trick. No stepping off or kicking it out. rippin and slammin

we're the same age as lavar so he wasn't so much 'little' as relatable and we grew w/ him. actually, he fell the hell of but we kept growing and that part does look grown up. nothing baby guy mariano about him and his kung fu was intimidating when it came out.

I've always thought he was 14 or so for the filming of Trilogy. I can't find his exact age anywhere there. I thought he got fully on Blind at 12.

This is from the Jan 1994 issue of Thrasher. Magazines used to come out a few months in advance, so he was 13 in 93, and Trilogy came out in the second half of 96, iirc. Anyways, he has a little kid style in 20 Shot for sure.

Good find, that probably means most of the Trilogy footage was filmed at 15 and 16. My guess would be most came from when he was around Kader's current age who is 15.

Anyway, there are always rare exceptions of people filming amazing parts at that age. Mike-Mo didn't have little kid style in Forecast and I'm pretty sure he was 14/15 filming for that. Also Fred Gall in Sub-Zero-Real Life.

Kader is obviously still developing - & rapidly - but I'd say he's already lost the "little kid style". could use a bit more quality control footy wise, but the boss definitely ain't lost his eye for talent.

That back 50 to fast back 3 stuck out - that looked difficult as hell.

I don't really like watching kids skate either, but I like Kader. I fear though that he'll never fully grow into an adult body sort of like Spanky and that's a bummer because even more than not liking little kids skating, I really don't like watching short people skating.

I was super hyped when I thought he was wearing a Swans shirt but upon closer inspection it's a Baker knock off with TK's diamond grill instead, which may be the most incongruent knock off ever.

Kader will be amazing sometime in the near future when puberty hits. He clearly has the skills, but one look at those flatground 360 flips and its clear he isn't ready yet. There are 15 year olds who are still little kids, and there are 15 year old who are grown men... it's not his fault.
Nothing we can do but wait for those testicles to drop and some leg strength to develop. In the meanwhile he should keep most of the clips on instagram.

Kader in the year 2020 will be amazing.
