Death Grips is pretty polarizing, so I wouldn't worry about missing anything if you don't "get it". I think Money Store is alright. It's got some good jams, but some of their other albums are just a little too out there for me.
What don't you like about Motorhead, Gay Imp?
I have a similar thing with Black Flag. Pretty much all of my favorite bands name Black Flag as a major influence, and there is no denying their contribution to punk and hardcore, but I've just never cared for their music.

THIS! it's the same with black flag and Motorhead for me; I love bands that are influenced by them but don't really rate either of them on their merits alone. Funny because with a band like CRASS I really like them, but any try hard crass band bores the shit out of me.

i think pretty much think anything that involves castles and kings and queens and wizards and dragons and magical bullshit is lame as hell.

I have watched majority of the Star Wars movies,but I don't get the (extreme) fandom of it all. Chewbacca is the best thing about it all,but there's all this other shit people obsess over. I know a dude in his mid 30s with a wife and kid that has his living room full on SW decorated,action figures,posters, bullshit everywhere. 40 yr old virgin style that I just don't get,but then again I skate and romance it.

I guess so. People bitch about skateboarding being a career as well. Everyone is someone else's weirdo.

I've heard stories about this guy - Ninja -  getting paid 180K at a time by filthy rich fucks to drop all his weapons during a game or something so he'll have a greater chance of losing, which is absurd. It's just such a waste of money.

It sucks because I just got a third job as a university transcriber to pay my bills and he's cashing in on something so lame, so I guess I'm bitter. But he was smart enough to use his skills to innovate an opportunity, that's cool.

i don't play basketball... but i enjoy watching nba basketball.
professional sports are fun to watch man. you're watching athletes in like the top 1% pushing their bodies to the limit of what's capable. i think it's entertaining
