I tried really hard to hate on Joslin's skating... I failed - fuck that was impressive! And unlike Nyjah, he actually looks good, while doing it!

But fuck that music and slow-mo! If you have gotten your hands on footage that are so - in the most literal sense - epic, as this is, then maybe it would be an idea to contrast it with something else. The editing just seemed bloated.

that is the original (and also the only type I like to call Ghetto Bird) - but someone on here asked Campbell on facebook, and he said it was any type of hardflip revert... I do believe that Campbell is a bigger authority than me.

that 360 flip on the narrow pyramid through the stairs was wild

i brought album when it first came out basically just for this part. i could careless about the music, editing, outfits... just wanted to see this fool fly. i kind of feel like he did what sheckler was claiming and i thought he added a lot of non-gap elements that were interesting. looking forward to his ledge part.

years ago he had a sequence in transworld of doing a hardflip down some stairs (the set malto grinded in the pretty sweet intro) and that was the first time i felt really scared for someone. i'm not scared anymore, but i think about how much stress he's putting on his body and how i'd never want to experience any of his big tricks from his perspective. and for that i have to give him massive respect for doing scary shit all the time.

The use of stedicams and stabilizers in skateboarding is my biggest pet peeve.

Super weird that those two insane tricks down Wallenberg were just thrown in 9 minutes into the part.
