How do you ride away from such big drops?

I'm such a NeWb
You gotta grab with one hand on the way down, and right before you land, start to grab it with the other hand. The second hand has to be about to grab, not yet holding on.
And yeah that gap is nuts, I don't even know how you thought of it.

I hate how you can only upload 3 clips at a time, I got a bunch but these ones won the proverbial roshambo.

Yeah, what he said, it's just a weird glitch you can exploit, unless somehow the programmers did it on purpose knowing people would wanna do tony hawk ass shit, just go to the megaramp and do tricks off the side of the start ramp to get some practice in

and briden, you're fuckin killing it, it's rediculous

2nd angle wasn't too bad. Tricks were sick as hell. front 3 at the el toro spot looked super good too. And the head slide at the end of the first was awesome.

Is there a trick them to other than doing a 5-0 then pointing the nose down?

The timing on this is a little hard to get perfect, but you basically aim like you're going to do a 50-50, and turn the left stick a little bit away from the ledge (or towards it for a feeble) at the last second and point the right stick down. Turn the left stick towards the ledge once you're on it for some extra style.

Yeah you can. You just gotta pop out like you're doing a nollie if I remember correctly (haven't played in a while) and work the left stick away from the ledge so you don't end up back on the ledge. Sorry if it doesn't make much sense.

Has anyone else ever gotten disc read errors on their ps3? It happened to me once before while playing skate to the point where nothing in the bluray drive would work (CDs, regular DVDs, etc) so I completely turned it off for a day or so, then turned it back on and it worked fine. Happened again last week and now it's a no go for what seems like forever. Googled around it seems like it's kind of a common problem that needs to be fixed by Sony.

3 cool things to know...

Nosebonks are the shit.

you can pole jam/wallie pretty much anything.

and if you wanna make your skater actually look like he is skating switch, you gotta 180, then reverse the controls if you know what I mean.

Shit, i wish i could show you my vids but since linking the gamertags on PS3 is fuckin stupid. ehhh

I have this one vid where i actually glitched and did a darkslide. for real!

after watching BriDens' no comply feeble, I got hyped and took it to the miniramp. If you do the no comply and then "late kickflip" it looks just like a legit no comply flip, same with no comply fs shuvit

They're real fun/legit looking with pole jams too. Kinda hard but its just about getting the right angle.

edit: no comply polejam/mumford-esque
Daewon-esque
I'm the best, mayne. I did it.

edit again: I was gunna explain how to do it, since a bunch of people asked before. You start with the right stick straight down (or up for nose(blunt)slides) and slowly move it in the direction you want to shove. Right before you get directly to the side (3 oclock or 9 oclock), start swinging the stick faster and bring it around 180. So all in all, the stick moves 270 from the bottom. The guy who explained it to me used the phrase "add a tempo" and it made sense... dunno if it'll help. Either way, it's really hard to do consistently; I can only do it like one in ten tries, but once you do a few they get easier.

Once when I was actually trying, but I can't give any tips cuz I think it was an accident, haven't been able to do it again.

And that clip you posted a little up is good, the gap to rail and then gap to street are hard to hit.

I just imagined Ray Barbee putting a parking block at top the mega launch.

Sick hubba clip Briden, I've spent hours trying to do the exact same thing, to no avail.
I did a backtail 360shuv on the first stairset ledge by the el toro set, but it was sketchy so I didnt use it.

anyone try going off the side of the megaramp to wallride the giant tv screen in the distance? I've gotten into wallride dozens of times but always hit the railings at the bottom no matter how hard I try to just come out.
