0:49 "Now I`m on the phone to you" as he rolls into a phone box. Cellphones were rare at the time.

Dont know if its been said before, but has Gino ever skated to this Hall and Oates classic?

Is it true?  Or did you read it on the slap message board?

I remember this vid. It put me on to Aesop Rock and alt rap when I was little.

it must be crazy when chico sells you something and the tables switch from "give me my money chico" to "giving my money to chico"

Ummm, "classic"? You're trippin my '80s guy.

But Theotis does skate to Hall & Oates in the Baker 4 video.

Someone needs to use "Method of Modern Love" in a video.

Some really good ones posted in this thread. My contribution would be that Tum Yeto road trip 411VM section that's edited to Minor Threat and every time 'I don't like getting hurt' comes up in the chorus, it plays a different slam clip of a different Zero dude.

I fully agree. That was the perfect song for his part.

At 11:22 the street sign and the song both talk about 90 degree angles and in a way Jeff Carlyles skating conjures up images of an platonic idealized rectangular box shredding it. It's probably the way he keeps his arms down when bombing combined with the slightly squared off board. Great song, love me some Devo.

20:45 mark. Can’t believe this wasn’t one of the first mentions. (Raises cane and screams at the sky)

At 0:58 the lyrics go "or even try to school ya" when he is skating that school yard.

In the intro to "Bake and Destroy", the chorus of the song exclaims "big money, big cars, who da fuck do you think we are?". A few times during this sequence you can see various team riders in pretty big cars which implies that the big money is likely also present.

I remember thinking this was a really nice bit of synchronizing. The first lyrics after such a long intro and all. Then that week Bill posted a still of it on his instagram with the caption "white on white". Really man? We got it the first time. Ruined whatever subtlety was there.

I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned yet, this was the first thing that came to my mind. Rob Dyrdeck's part in the DC video, Big Black focus's his board when the song says "'Cause I don't like stress" (3:35)
