My friend, Ed Syder, is doing another artist tribute book, this time the subject is Tony Hawk vs. Christian Hosoi (based on their 1980s battles). This is the 3rd in a series (First was Gonz & Natas, then Neil & Lance).
30+ artists are contributing, including Philip Morgan, Paul Kobriger, Michael Hsiung, Phil Hackett, Jay Croft, Requiem for a Screen, and many more.
He has a Kickstarter for it, but there is only about a week left, and the are struggling to meet the printing costs (even though the last two were successfully funded)
There are great backer rewards like pins, prints, shirts, decks.
