It is.  I will get around to scanning it later this week after I get some more shots developed.

Winter is here so I decided to try and shoot a self portrait in the basement. One of the few places I'll be able to skate this winter since we have no indoor here. You can see my transmitter in my hand. Fs shuv.

On the other hand, my friend Eric has this mini ramp that is super dope. Here's a few things from that.

And one more that I was really stoked on.

Last september I travelled through Tajikistan (Northern neighbour of Afghanistan) with a friend and had a blast. I just uploaded a handful of photos on my flickr. Tajikistan is such a beautiful and peaceful country, hospitable like most moslim-countries and has some great locally brewed wodka. We travelled 3 days along the border with Afghanistan which was kind of surreal at first, also getting threatened a gun by a soldier because you are shooting photos of Afghanistan was a little weird , but it was one of my best travels yet!

More pics to come.

Awesome, keep them coming.
You shot some stuff for a lonely planet thing a while back, didn't you? Was this a similar deal or were you just doing this out of personal interest?

Yep, that was me. This time we just found out that it was relatively cheap to fly to Dushanbe (the capital) so we just booked a flight and hoped for the best. We knew some interested parties to sell video and photos to, but they backed down. So right now we're looking for new parties to sell it, so if anyone would know someone... ;)

Mooley, cool that you remember that LP stuff

had my first try at startrails yesterday. didnt really think about anything, just put my camera on a tripod, kinda guessed iso and aperture and let it stay in the cold for 14minutes. i?d like to try and stack images next time, but i didnt want my pentax to be out in -8?C for too long.

i was pretty bummed because i forgot to switch it back to raw files, its way easier to work with than jpegs.

still, i was surprised how much the stars moved in such little time.

Depending on the brand of your camera, you could get a remote to trigger your shutter fairly cheap from here:

i used bulb mode (comes after 30sec. exposure in my camera), 3 second shutter delay and an old sony home-cinema remote. yes, these things work on some cameras, was pretty stoked on that. just searched my house for all old remotes, and pressed every button. 3 of them worked, and i simply chose the smallest one haha.

That first one is rad.

Here's two things that just dropped in Concrete.

Tony Myshlyaev, bs flip.

Alexander Mitchell, nollie flip. This is at the Keith's Brewery in Halifax. You get maybe 1-10 tries depending on the time you go. We got 3 tries this time and he ended up landing it on the third try. I set up flashes outside and ran them in and placed them according to a diagram I made up in my head. No time for test shots or even an ollie, he just went straight for nollie flip. Insane.

This is my lens and face getting hit by a board:

This one is from back in 2009. I always kind of dug this photo, shot it with my Bronica before I got my blad. It was weird to shoot because everything is on a hill. Hard to get your verticals right like that. Nick Hanlon, Bs nosegrind.

Alexander Mitchell; bs 360.

and one portrait I was pretty stoked on.

Central Asia is fully worth travelling through, it might be one of the most interesting areas to visit. So go do it and let me know how it was!

I uploaded a handful of new photos and uploaded them to the Slap Pal Flickr group.
