I saw the sample, the mesh is actually rubber and is like the nike sb tre ad.
Very skateable and breathable.

These are comig into the shop and im gonna buy them for sure. Westgates are the best shoes I have ever skated hands down. Has anyone here seen this colorway in person. Are they canvas? Also is the color way actually like almost black grey like it looks, they look like a dull matte black?

well, in that case then it's pretty damn cool, cause i like the colorway, but i would never spend 100+ doallars on a pair of shoes i'm gonna fuck up on purpose.

If you like Es - the actual shoes they made - then you should like a lot of etnies models. The fairfax and barge ls were great shoes for me to skate in, and this shoe looks great, too.

A lot of their models use the DTTF insole, which, if you haven't tried, is very, very good, and it doesn't flatten out in the heel like other insoles. A lot of the shapes and overall feel of the shoes will be very similar to Es.

So, when Es shoes get really hard to come by, just know, if you enjoy skating their shoes, there is an alternative.

It should be noted: In my experience, etnies are closer to Es than Emerica is, in case you were wondering.

Those Freeport do look good. I wonder if they're going to transition any models to etnies/Emerica, like the Accel and Square 1/2.
