I know this is a small company, but where they at? I barely see promoting, or new styles, anything from the team, what’s good? I wanna see them last a long time. These shoes are really good

They've been doing collabs with shops and smaller companies which is really cool. I know for sure they did one with Northern Co. and one with ScumCo, and one of my local shops said he was doing a collab with them but that was pre-apocalypse and I haven't talked to him since then so not sure if it's still in the works or what.

I'm looking at state.
I'm pretty over what I been skating again I saw they got a reinforced denim shoe for around 50ish.

I would be buying blind because of the Rona so maybe someone can help.

I wear like an eight five dunk size eight blazer if it's a regular blazer 8.5 is usually my safe zone for trying kicks but in like adidas stupid boozer
high heel soccer shoes I'm like a 9.

If you tried these shoes and can compare I'd appreciate the help

They are worth trying for sure. I usually wear an eight in any pair of shoes, very rarely do I have to get an eight and a half or seven and a half. Every State shoe I've had has been an eight. I had one pair of the Harlem shoes from State and I think because they are real thin they fit a little bigger. The only thing with them is that they are a little hard to find in size eight. I've looked recently and they are mostly sold out online. I checked that parade world website and they had a few. Hope they work out for you man.

This is their best offering yet imo.  Colorways and everything.

I agree, their best offering thus far. I've never had a pair but that may change. I like the Pacifica cupsole a lot.

The blue Vistas look sick! And the Fred Gall in black. I had a pair of the Salem hightop shoe in all black a few years ago, it was my favorite looking shoe for a while. I've had four pairs of State, they're good shoes but to be honest I always craved more comfort from them.

Bushwick and pacifica cup both look great. Nice to see them doing more full suede and leather rather than canvas w suede toe/ollie patch.
flat spotted 3 times in 2 weeks, other than that awesome wheels

Those new colorways look very nice !

I just copped two pairs of canvas bishop for real cheap.
I only had the salems but I didn't really liked them. I hope the bishop will work for me !

edit: from what I saw on this thread, I took them in size 8.5.
I'm 8 in Vans classic pro, 7 in CTAS pro.

If Pacifica Cup isn't the 'flimsy outsole with a thick insole' type of cupsole, I may never buy another shoe again.

Just wanted to share my experience with States. 100% back them! I've skated the harlem just because I needed some more support and really dug the shoe. The insole was great but it gave out way before I wore out the shoe. I ended up messaging them to see if there was a  way to purchase some insoles and the dude who responded to me ended up shipping a few my way for no charge. If you're reading this, I just want to say I appreciate your kindness so much!

One time they were out of what I ordered so they asked if I wanted something else. I chose a different model that I think cost more but they didn't charge me and sent me a free pair of socks too. I was stoked on that. I'd also like to say thanks.

Distribution in all of Europe has been hit or miss since Shiner in the UK dropped the brand to instead favor some non skate stuff, a couple of years back. State's entire European distribution used to be centralized there, so it hit them hard. Last I heard the owner was trying to instead get per-country distribution for Europe now, but it's been some time and it's still rare - shame because I keep seeing a lot of demand. Anybody feel free to hit them up if you think you can help with EU distribution.

Why would anyone want to skate State?
Every pair I had hurt my feet in no time. In 3 days they already feel like a super worn out 2 months Vans...

Because they are as durable as Vans, if not more.
Because the team and the videos are awesome.
Because it's skater owned.
Because they look good and skate well

Yeah, State is sick. I'm 32 and have no issues with pain or soreness at all. I've skated keys and elgins, and I have 2 pairs of mercers, one pair of harlems, one pair of TKF salems, one pair of bishops. and another pair of elgins.

My buddy is looking at getting some State bishops in black chambray. Anyone tried em? How's the durability?

I cautioned him about the chambray material but I'm wondering if Im wrong. I'm all about suede but he likes the idea of a vegan option.

Let me know!

State make well designed vulcs, better than some of the bigger brands. Can’t vouch for their  chambray models but like the canvas models, I’d imagine they are rubber backed for extra strength...
