But to Nick Boserio that's his setup he actually goes out and gets clips on! That guy is a beast, with a strange penchant for soft wheels and atypical boards.

Enjoying seeing some of the smaller cruiser setups here.Recently found this old Habitat Raymond board in my mom's garage. I remember being so pumped on this board for how pointy it was. I decided to Frankenstein it into a cruiser and it is super fun.Habitat 7.5 x 31.25Independent 129OJ Keyframes 56mmIndependent risersShorty's 1" allenRedsJessup
It is a wonderful shape, nice and flat too. I never did 7.5 on the regs but I saw that at the shop and was in love. I for sure had homies in the 90s who skated skinny boards with big wheels...distinctly remember one of the dudes I skated with rocking a 7.5 23 Clyde Singleton with some huge 60mm-looking guys. I've never been able to do big wheels (recently tried 55s and hated it) except in the context of a cruiser.

My favorites were trilogy and mouse, but not being in California the big wheel east coast thing was really cool to us. Not sure why we needed this combo of small boards and huge wheels....you could definitely Ollie higher with the big ass wheels, when you managed to hit your tail. I guess 8” was as large as I saw without someone being ‘that’ person at the park with the one big board. Dudes that just skated transition were riding boards less than 8”. Kinda funny
