I'd love to make music with other Pals, just send me a message. I'm down for any type of music. I'm starting a new instagram devoted to covering classic skate video songs.

My hass is out:

MJ in yeah right:

Brian Anderson in yeah right:

Foundation Cataclysmic abyss - guess who's part? This is the guitar solo:

Any requests? It only takes me a few minutes to learn and post a new song.

Do a bass cover of Xtal.
Insta stuff auto-embeds, just doesn't show up in previews.

I’m hoping other posters post some clips of them playing

Rad stuff, @winecrab.  I don't have any clips, but you reminded me of this one of Trouble Andrew covering What's So Strange About Me?  Awesome song by Eight Dayz that was featured in the skate video Wheels Of Fire.

Cheers!

I need to get a lot better before I start pointing a camera at myself. Your playing is pretty solid, wine crab.

Has anyone skated to The Heinrich Maneuver? I've got at least the first minute of that one down.

Cool song with a sweet baseline. Will definitely cover this soon. Knife song too.

I’m from Miami and am currently stuck in a motel in southern CA for a couple of weeks so I got a lot of free time and you guys would actually help reduce my boredom if you give me songs to learn. Unfortunately since I left to the airport in a hurry, I forgot to bring a bass. So right now I have a 7 fret midi guitar and a Charango which is like a super 10 string ukulele. Whatever I can manage.

Please name songs from well known bands that were used in classic parts. Don’t throw out random song names if you don’t really care. I’d prefer songs that you are stoked on and wanna see it covered.

Here are some songs I was thinking of doing of the top of my head:

The Cure - Close to me
Jefferson airplane- white rabbit
The pixies - where is my mind or Bone machine
New Order - age of consent (subject to change Louie/hsu
David Bowie - rock n’ roll suicide, sound and vision, any other song used in a video.
Motor head - We are the road crew (John Allie)
Bob Dylan - knocking on heavens door
Iggy pop - the passenger (Herman/Joey Poiriez digital part)
The doors - love me two times (Leo Digital part)
The GO! Team - huddle formation (Prod, Jeremy, Mikey split transworld part

I dunno hopefully someone will make a request. It’s not like I don’t love playing by myself or anything, I just thought some pals would appreciate it and more importantly, learning songs outside of the stuff I normally play (think Earthless, Graveyard, Radio Moscow, etc) and finding new cool songs/bands I didn’t know about.

TLDR; Request a song from well known video parts, I’ll cover them in my own way and post it. Also Shalom
