Jared Sherbet sounds like someone who makes casting couch videos.

But he made this instead and I liked it a lot.

Cyrus of course, surprised by albas seriousness, and lance is pure inspiration

but Aaron’s back foot steez is otherworldly, and does to me what I imagine having a sexual foot fetish is like.

that was so good, wow. the coloring in it was perfect. diego todds smith revert switch flip line was so rad.

i was really impressed by juicy too, his wallie noseblunt looked great.

but man, cyrus. that back smith and backsmith kickflip on that bench were so dipped and smooth

I, too, was impressed by the coloring of this in a way that I don't even usually notice or think about in skate videos unless it's bad (Away Days).

I don't even think I knew that Jesse Alba is actually good at skateboarding. That was pretty cool.

Starting to like Diego’s stuff.
I missed seeing JAlba skate.
Lance will always have a place in my heart and all his footage is a sacred gift from the skate gods that warms my heart and reminds me of childhood innocence and how much I love skateboarding.
Finally, Cyrus is a beast. I don’t feel like I’ve seen much of him but when he drops footage it’s always impressive.
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

Cyrus is one of those dudes that people know about but don't realize just how good he is. My friend who is a skate shop owner was telling me about a Nike wear test a while ago that sent shop owners with Nike accounts to Minnesota to skate and there were a few team riders there as well. I asked him who stood out seeing them skate in person, and he said Cyrus without a delay

Cyrus is insane but the entire video was pretty great. The whole 4:3 HD shit can save it though, ENERGY has that shit patented.

Guy's back 180 nosegrind at the Ave. park in Ventura was fucked up. If you've ever skated this spot in person, that trick does not make sense and isn't anything I'd even imagine be possible.
[close]

Plus footy at 66 and Imperial made me feel like a kid again. I don't think I've seen those spots in a video since Church of Skatan stuff.
[close]

Damn! THAT is taking it way back in the 805.
[close]

Other than the Real video (had 66 and Buena), Church of Skatan were the only videos that had Ventura spots, plus the occasional Santa Cruz Kyle Kimberling section.
When you're a kid and a video has your local spots, you love it no matter what.
[close]

Time stamps for those spots? It's always cool when that happens.

This had a great soundtrack. Always wanted to hear someone skate to that Tortoise song and anything with Devo is a winner.

First clip of the video is at 66 (aka California 66). It was the place from like 93-95 but then it became a super bust. I skated there every night during freshman year. You'll see a Salman Agah line there in the Real video (maybe another clip or two). There was also a spot check in the November 93 Thrasher:

The Imperial clip was at a bank formerly known as Imperial Savings and Loan, midtown Ventura. Was mostly known as a parking garage spot (curbs/manuals) but it also had various stair sets. It was literally around the corner from my house and I skated there every rainy day, and many nice ones as well. Not often a bust. I do remember some clips there in a Skatan video, probably 95ish. The wallride at 1:29 goes down into the parking garage area.
