Austyn has no board sponsor, which is downright shameful... Soon no shoe sponsor as well.
[close]

Id love to know why he left WKND.  None of those involved seem the type to air out their dirty laundry publicly (if there even is any), so I guess all one can do is speculate.  It seemed like a great fit, at least from the outside looking in.

I think it’d be kind of sick if he got on Heroin.

Austyn is in my Mt. Rushmore and I have his parts on repeat as much as I do Worrest and others. Seriously, he’s one my favorites since the inhabitants era.

As much as my dusty young 30s year old ass praises him, I stand by the statement. I hate saying that too. Skateboarding is weird right now.
We need Malto to release the pic of Biebel drunk in an elevator with his wiener hanging out.

Austyn is too cool to have even a few stickers on his board, also will never wear a logo on any of his clothing. Companies hate that cool guy shit

Would never skate an Austyn board even if i got it for free. He just seems fake and not fun, bland guy trying so hard but never ever getting close to Dylan.

I heard he moved from dropping occasional LA street parts to only skating parks in San Diego. I think whatever company he's on my be too good for that decision

We get where you're coming from. It's like if you had a favorite hockey player you'd like the guy who wouldn't score any goals but would look good on the ice. Looking good is also winning in skateboarding and it's weird. Skateboarding is divided into two sections The olympian go getter cookie cutters and the side road creative artists.

Keelan Dadd's name alone was worth more than sponsorship.

Puig on Palace.

I'm sorry as marketable as their team is, there aren't any super pros. Puig is still a super pro imo.

If Evan Smith gets on Zero, Zero can start to rebrand a little and not be in the box of the dirty punk rail skater vibes. Don’t get me wrong, I love those vibes, but that look is only so marketable.

Although Nike is a “top tier sponsor”, it’s a fucking disgrace and is completely disgusting that Ishod, GT, Mariano, etc. don’t have ORIGINAL shoes that THEY had input on with their names on it. Although they’re getting paid well, it’s just disrespectful to put Shane O’Neil’s name on Stefan’s shoe and call it a pro model.

Funny to hear Austyn had the opinion that WKND wasn’t running to its full potential. Never listen to the Bunt. I’ll have to check it out one of these days. I just thought he left to do his own thing. I always thought WKND was a inbetween sponsor for him. Kinda like when Koston got on Lakai to basically dump all his footage before going to Nike.

I thought maybe Austyn decided to do his own thing so other guys on the team could get some shine maybe.

For sure not a personal favorite but Ryan Decenzo has got to have the worst sponsors. According to the World Wide Web dude skates for Darkstar, Globe, Red Bull, RDS, Bones, Kicker, OC Ramps, Hitcase and Indy.

Back then he was just the local ripper in Minnesota, or it might have been Wisconsin. Deluxe probably figured they could mold him into a decent pro, or even a likable human, and it didn’t take too long for them to realize he’s hopeless. They sent him off into Hollywood, where the Rockstar Energy flows like water, and Fedoras have a home. The rest is history.
