just saw inglorious basterds, don't know why i waited so long.
something about the pacing of this movie made it so good for me. only a few directors can make a 10 minute scene seem like an eternity with suspence. tarantino did the same thing in pulp fiction, it felt like that movie was 10 hours long the first time i saw it, but it was never slow, if that makes sense.
there was something very sinister about the final theater scene (when that bowie song starts). definitly picked up on some inspiration from
the wall during that scene. i think it was modern music mixed with that subject matter. fucking sick.
this guy killed it, oscar well deserved
