entirely possible, i never said i thought she was gorgeous, dying to see, and not opposed to seeing are 2 different things. however, i could do, and have done worse than her.

i've heard that story a few times from different people, and it always seems so crazy to me... how do you not set at least one or two aside somewhere? i'm not a super sentimental dude, but you can bet that if i ever had a pro model, there'd be a couple in a box at my mom's or something...

so does your friend make ex-pro's pay the obscene "market value" on their boards, or does he hook them up?

the whole "vintage" deck market is so crazy... people are paying thousands for old grossos and jessees and shit.

Yo Paul - it said under that deck description that it was a prototype. It wasn't a production model so it was never released - kind of like when powell made all those 'experimental' decks back in the late 80s. More of a sentimental value deck than anything. Spideys are pretty rare and when they do pop up they are going for 800-1300 bucks.

Sadly i've heard of some pro stories where they use their name / leverage to try to get vintage models back. Jason Lee is one of them - he emails people off of ebay who clunk down 2-3gs for decks and asks for them FOR FREE. I think you can buy them yourself, Earl.

The whole vintage deck thing is regular now. You know i got a bunch, fuck man i took a deck (salba tiger) i bought for 100 bucks in 2000 and sold it 4 years later for 700. Filled my unemployed belly for 2 months.
